Chapter 36: The Calm Before The Exam

As they entered their room, Leo and Tristen noticed that Tristen's maid had already taken her bath and was now neatly dressed, ready to resume her duties. Without wasting time, Tristen grabbed his towel and headed to the bathroom to take his own bath.

Leo, meanwhile, retrieved his uniform from his system storage and placed it neatly in the wardrobe. Alongside it, he took out the sword John had given him. As his hand brushed against the hilt, the system suddenly beeped:

"Do you want to upgrade this equipment to A+ RANK?"

Leo thought for a moment before replying, "No, not yet." He carefully placed the sword inside the wardrobe and then sat on the bed.

Wanting to pass the time, he opened one of the system's functions—a tracker that displayed heat signatures on the system screen. It was a handy tool, though limited to identifying living beings. Curious, he decided to check on Aisha and noticed that her heat signature had already moved to Marcel's inn.
