Chapter 99: Misery (pt.1)

The greatest trick the devil had pulled was convincing Silvian to trust her ways unconditionally. 

He coughed, letting out a mouthful of his blood on the ground. The moonlight coming from the window had illuminated the dark room, showing the demonic engagement on the floor. 

Silvian looked at his blood and shrugged, he decided to just use it as well, smearing it around the engagement for this ritual. 

He lacked some freshly squeezed blood. The beasts' blood could only be a second tier at best, but human blood? That was the real deal, according to the details he had read at least. 

Currently he needed to gather enough blood, the blood was particularly oozing from the beasts, indicating that he should make it faster before it dries out. 

Taking a deep breath, Silvian tried to remember the shape- how it was supposed to be, and his hands traced the engravings while adding some extra details to draw the circle.
