Chapter 183: Beyond attractive

She had been standing in front of the door for a while now. Her soft, long hair was blown by the wind; creating a hypnotic golden brown waves.

Her feet shifted anxiously; the black boots clicked impatiently and echoed around the empty hallway. She was not sure if coming here at this time was the right decision.

By the time she had stood outside his door, her doubt started to kick in. But she was already here now.

She raised her hands in a fist and took a deep breath. And then she lifted one hand to press the doorbell.

A moment later, she heard soft steps coming from behind the door and then stopped. So she knew whoever stood behind the door right now was probably watching her every move.

Her head was down, looking at her feet. And then she tilted her face to look to the side; admiring the view from the balcony.

'Xiqing, I'm home,' she whispered softly in her heart.
