As they continued their journey, news of their mobilization reached some towns, prompting them to dispatch their subordinates to observe the actions of the Waydale city forces.
After half a day of travel, they finally arrived at the Endless Forest.
"STOP EVERYONE!!!"
Everyone immediately halted upon hearing the shout, as it came from Fax, one of the three commanders of the City Lord.
Fax, along with two elderly men, walked to the front. A hush fell over the crowd as these two elders were highly respected figures from the Song clan and the Blue Wind Sect, both possessing the same cultivation level of the first-stage Building Base realm.
"You may be wondering why we are here and didn't prevent you from following us!" Fax spoke, scanning the gathered crowd.
Everyone nodded, well aware of the dominance held by the three forces. If they intended to do something, they wouldn't allow anyone to trail behind them.
"Allow me to get straight to the point. Our three forces have discovered a place where one's cultivation can advance by killing the monsters within."
"What?! Is this true?"
"No way! If such a thing truly exists, why would these forces reveal it publicly instead of keeping it for themselves?"
