Chapter 121: City Lord, Alderic

The Red Cliff City bustles with activity and grandeur. Its enormous walls could not hide the sounds of activity from within as the group finally saw the entrance of the city at the same moment when the sun set at the end of the horizon.

Albert looked back to where they came from as he wiped away the sweat and trepidation that rolled down his neck. "Where should we go? Miss Erika?" he politely asked Erika, who was inside the carriage that he was driving.

There was a moment of silence before Erika's voice, one without emotion, echoed in Albert's ears.

"Go directly to the City Lord's manor."

Albert nodded his head and immediately ordered the Wind Horses to move forward. This was also for the best of them as a mercenary group, as they could only claim their reward if they brought Erika and the others directly to the Lord's manor.
