Chapter 19: Stage 75: Searching

Lixin moved in complete silence, closely following Zeyu as they infiltrated the enemy camp through a narrow breach in the surrounding walls. Once inside, the sight of numerous stationed soldiers scattered throughout the camp caught Lixin's immediate attention.

He couldn't help but wish they had chosen the cover of night for this mission. Unfortunately, it was too late for such considerations now.

With the utmost care, they stealthily navigated through the camp, using tents and structures as cover to blend into the shadows. Their objective remained straightforward: find the map, and then incinerate the entire camp.

As they maneuvered past a couple of unassuming brown tents, Lixin couldn't help but voice his curiosity as they crouched behind a crate. "Why aren't we checking these tents?"

"I've already checked them on my last attempt," Zeyu replied in a hushed tone. "The map wasn't in any of them. I was concentrating on the green ones before I got caught."
