Chapter 4: The Battle. Demon Princess?!
(TRIGGER: CONTAINS OFFENSIVE LANGUAGE)

All the 10k men got ready and are now well-prepared for the incoming hordes of Demons, or shall we say the incoming battle? Valour has stationed his men across the barricades he had ordered some of his men to build. The Archers, Mages and Siege Engineers are all behind the barricades, with the Archers and Mages forming up 2 formations on left and ride while the Siege Engineers are right behind them.
(Valour's POV:)
I, Valour Ainzenhein, am currently mounting my horse and standing right in front of the men. The time is now 5:30 AM and the variety of sounds that are coming from the Demons are nearing us bit by bit. I ordered Eduard to be in-charge of the Cavalry, he'll move and perform our plan the moment I motion him.
Valour - "Men of the Empire!" I call out to the 10k army of mine. I've their attention so now I can say my speech. "My men! It's only this battle so we can go back home! If we win, we'll go back home and meet our people! But if we lose... Then I'm afraid to say but we will not even walk a few steps back. Have courage! Don't feel afraid of them! We've fought them multiple times on multiple occasions! And today... This place is where we fight! This place is their graveyard! Do you want them to come here and kill us?! No! Of course not! We do not! I say we drench them with their blood! So what you say, men of the Empire?!" I said with a very loud voice but in a majestic tone.
Everyone - "HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!" they shouted enthusiastically.
Valour - "That's what I expected!"
*SHRIEK* *SCREAM* *DUMBUMDUM*
Valour - "Here they come! Archers! Prepare to fire... Fire!"
*Pew* *Pew* *Pew* 2 thousand arrows were fired and are now raining profusely on the Demonic army. Shouts and screams of Demons in agony can be heard from that distance which is quite far.
*SHRIEK* *SCREAM*
Lich - "Arise!" a skeleton-like figure showed up in a Skeleton horse but with horns. After saying his word a group of armoured Skeletons showed up, they are Archers, Heavy Knights and Light Swordsmen.
Valour - "Siege Engineers! Put oil to inflame the rocks then fire the Catapults! Ballistas may fire at will! Cannons! Prepare to fire on my signal!" I order the Siege Engineers to put oil on the rocks in order to lit them up and fire them right after on the Demonic army. I believe it'll cause quite the ruckus in their ranks, hopefully. Ballistaes will fire at their will until I motion them to stop. I plan to fire the Cannons the moment the Ballistas stop firing.
*BOOM* *BOOM* *PEW* *PEW* sounds of Catapults and Ballistas echoed throughout the area. *BANG* the spears of the Ballistas and rocks of the Catapults directly hit the target successfully and caused a huge impact which also caused several gaps on the ground with the bodies of the Demons either obliterated or burned or separated in half. I see the group of Demons are retreating now.
Light Archer - "They are retreating! Let's catch up with them so we can obliterate them!"
Everyone - "HAAAAAAAAAA! HURRAY!!/KILL THEM ALL!!!"
Valour - "Hm? What's this?" I got a pigeon with what appears to be message, strip it then open it. "HALT!" I stop the men before they were about to break the formation.
Everyone - "???" they are now looking at me with either wondering or panned expressions.
Valour - *Sweating* I sweat and felt nervous a bit but I calm myself, I don't know how I can manage to do all of that... I just reincarnated in this fucking goddamn world 2 days ago and now I'm commanding an army in a war....
"The estimated number of Demons in the Demonic Army that was reported by the intel is 15k, right? We've wiped out 2k during the ambush and this group of Demons now isn't 10k at all, I've just got a message from Commander Eduard and he said the number of the Demons is over 50k! They are perhaps camping somewhere!"
Soldier 1 - "Fi-Fif-Fifty- Fifty Thousand!"
Soldier 2 - "It cannot be!!!"
Soldier 3 - "We're only 10 thousand! What are we going to do!?!?!"
Everyone panicked and are now shouting while few others have already fell on their knees with their hands clutched on their heads.
Valour - 'To be honest, I'm scared too. But I can turn the tables! Me and Eduard have stayed all night just to think about the plans! We can do it! We. Can. Do. It!' I thought to myself but...
*SHRIEKS* *SCREAMS* *DUMBUMDUMBUMDUMBUMDUM* very loud sounds of shrieks, screams and drums appeared from the Demonic Army's direction... They! They are here!
Valour - "Men of the Empire! Listen to me!" I tried to call out to my men but I got no response, they are in panic... I've no choice so I sent the pigeon towards Eduard's direction.

Eduard - "Hm? Oh! It's the Pigeon! Catch it, soldier! Bring it to me." he ordered a soldier beside him to bring the pigeon to himself, he then read the content of the message and looked towards the Demon Army's direction.
Eduard - "We've the signal! Move! Move! Move! HURRAAAAAAAH!"
Cavalrymen - "HAAAAAAAAA!"

I see the Cavalrymen with either their muskets or bows tagging behind Eduard who's moving towards the Demon Army. That's it! The plan finally begins!

(Eduard's POV:)
Eduard - "Keep firing! Don't get near them! Stay with me! Stick together! Don't get too far away!" I, Eduard von Balrug, am currently instructing the men who were assigned to me by his Imperial Highness, Valour-sama. I wonder how he has changed? He was a lazy man who only keeps drinking and delaying his paperwork. Whatsoever, I hope he stays like that... We, the men of the Empire are currently firing bullets and arrows through our Muskets and Bows on the Demons, we've killed many of them but their numbers don't seem to decrease. God! They are too many!
Eduard - "Keep firing!!! Don't hesitate! Don't slow down! We can only go back if we defeat the Demon Army! KEEP FIRING!"
*PEW* *PEW* *PEW*
*SHRIEK* *SCREAM*

(BACK TO VALOUR)
(Valour's POV:)
Valour - 'My Knight, Eduard is doing his job very well today!' I thought to myself. "Men of the Empire! Look! Eduard and the Cavalry aren't panicked at all! They are fighting with what they got! They are doing all their best! So are you going to stand here like filthy cowards?! YOU ARE SOLDIERS! AND NOT JUST SOLDIERS! BUT SOLDIERS OF THE AINZENHEIN EMPIRE! IF PEOPLE HEAR ABOUT YOU TODAY THEN WE MIGHT BECOME A JOKE! DO YOU WANT THAT TO HAPPEN, HUUUUUUH!?"
Everyone - "...." they all felt speechless and their heads were down in shame of themselves.
?? - "The Prince is right! We've come here to fight for the Empire; not to panic!" a feminine voice came out from an armoured woman. She's Lexa, the Knight of my sister Valeria; one of my Army Officers.
"Your Highness! What's your order?" Lexa said with a serious expression.
Valour - "....." I thought for a moment. "Lexa-san... Come here for a moment." I call out for Lexa, I want to whisper her the plans.
Valour - "....Got it?"
Lexa - "Yes... Your Highness! That's a really strange plan... But I believe it'll work." she said in a suspicious tone... Well, as long as she thinks it'll work then that's good. I only told her because she's the most trusted subordinate of Valeria, not to mention she's also a competent and skilled commander and warrior. It doesn't mean I'll always trust the subordinates of my family members but it's just... I don't trust anyone here except Eduard, so I only have this choice.
*SHRIEK* *SCREAM* The Demons have fastened their pace and now they are advancing quickly.
Eduard - "Hurry! Do all your best!!! FIREEE!"
*PEW* *PEW* *PEW* Eduard and his men fired their bows and muskets but they didn't hit anyone...
Eduard - "What!"
Everyone - "!!!!"
Valour - "A BARRIER! HOW!?"
Everyone is in shock and fear. Suddenly, a humanoid figure with female parts showed up out of nowhere.
Valour - "!!! Who are you!?" I'm shocked but still managed to ask the newcomer.
?? - "I am Tifa, Princess of the Underworld or shall I say the 'Demonic Realm'? I've come here for a duel against Prince Valour of Ainzenhein Empire, I believe you are him?" a full armoured woman with a helmet and horns on her head, spoke to me.
Valour - 'Demon Princess? There was never such a thing in the novel though... It was only the Demon King... Perhaps that Lady tweaked with this world a bit? Whatever...' I thought to myself.
"I am Valour Ainzenhein, Crowned Prince of the Ainzenhein Empire. Why do you, a Demon Princess, wish to have a duel with me?" I introduced myself then asked in wonder but I still felt suspicious about it.
Tifa - "Hmpf." she chuckled. "Don't you know? It's really obvious if a leader comes asking for a duel against the enemy leader. If I win, you'll be killed! If you win, you may do anything with me and my army." she said sarcastically.
Valour - "I see..." I said absentmindedly. 'What? "I see"? My ass! Fuck do I mean by that! Whatever! I don't fucking know how a duel works! I don't even know how to use a weapon! I've not even checked if I've affinity for everything in this world! *Sigh*' I thought to myself.
Tifa - "Why are you silent? Are you wondering about our duel rules? You may use any weapon you want, magic is also allowed. Afterall, this is a duel between enemies! So if you can't use magic then that's your problem!"
Valour - "...." I'm feeling speechless now.... I don't know how to use a weapon nor magic! What do I do! What do I do!!!!
Lexa - "Your Highness... If you want, I can take your place-"
Demon Princess Tifa - "No! I only want to duel him! Him and only him!" she exclaimed.
Valour - 'I'm screwed....' I thought to myself... "Can you give me a moment? I need to get prepared... Afterall, you're full armoured."
Tifa - "Hmpf" she chuckled. "What a weakling. Whatever, do as you want but don't take a while!"
Valour - 'I don't like how she's treating me... This bitch.... *Sigh* I'm one to talk... I don't know how to fight a duel....'

(10 MINUTES LATER)
(Author's POV:)
Valour went to his own tent to get ready and equip his gear. After he finished, he came out wearing a red armour with gold accents and a golden Griffin carved on his chest, back and cloak. His armour invokes a knightly image.
Tifa - "Hmpf" she chuckled again. "You like fancy stuffs huh? But I can tell that this gear is well-made... I've decided that I'll take it after I win this duel. Hahahaha!"
Valour - "We'll see." I said with a strong determination and fire can be seen in my eyes. 'We'll see? My ass! You don't fucking know how to fight a duel! Fucker! You pest!' I thought to myself.
Tifa - "No need for anymore delays. Here I come!" she said then *WHOOOSH* vanished from her place and appeared right infront of Valour.
Valour - "!!!!"
