Chapter 20: You are a scum no more!

Year 13 Month 6

It's been 6 months since my first visit to ryouzapankou. I have been travelling between the tempest clan and ryouzapankou. Despite what said to miu, I can't stay with her all the time.

I have my training to do, and I'm not part of ryouzapankou. So I went on with my life.

The surprising, or not surprising, mom did get invited into one shadow nine fists like the canon. Despite the different beliefs that mom has now with the original story, it is still a fact that mom doesn't mind killing. She hereby of the lineup of masters that gathered there, she knows how dangerous the group is. So she joins them to keep her eyes on the group.

Many of their activities are questionable at best and downright inhuman. Some of their activities can be stopped by her without leaking them that mom is the one that stopped them. Some of it is stopped by Hayato and other saving fists and similar believer masters. Some of the activities can be stopped thanks to mom intel, and the other is stopped because of some info from other sources. But despite the joint effort of the masters, we cannot stop them all

I have been entrusted with some jobs from my clan. 3 jobs to be exact. 2 jobs are required me to become bodyguards, and the last job is assassination. The target of assassination have been approved by grandpa and I've seen the profile of the target. The target is a real scumbag that deals with human trafficking and records of rap* cases.

Out of all crimes that are happening, rap*, child abuse and child exploitation are the crimes that I won't tolerate no matter what the reasons are. So, despite my fear of killing other humans for the first time, I still did it out of my anger. The funny thing is, just like many third rate villains, he begged me to let him live. It just made me get angrier toward him, knowing how many lives he ruined, so I did the deed.

Well, my dad is right there with me to oversee the mission, to make sure that the mission is accomplished and to make sure that I'm okay. After this, for every job I took, I'll do it myself since already got the experience of how the job is done.

I can't sleep well for several days because despite how inhuman the guy is, he is a human after all, and this is my first time killing someone.

Until my mother came by. She gave me the talk of her first kill, and how she also cannot handle it well too. She said it's okay to be affected by our first kill, whether we are normal people or martial artists since not everyone is born a psychopath.

While I did get better after that, it still weighed on me. It took time after all. But remembering what the target had done still alleviated most of my guilt.

After that job, my clan gave me some time to rest, and won't give me some job.

When I came to the ryozanpakou, the masters realise that I had done it, Hayato asked me whether its a job or not, and I did say its a job.

He asked whether I'm okay or not and want to talk about it, I said that mom gave me.

The other masters probably just assume that mom bring me with her to some job and killed someone. They didn't become hostile to me like I feared, maybe because they know who my mother is, what she believes in.

Surprisingly, Sakaki shio did come to talk to me to tell him my story. When I told him about the job and the target profiles, he did shiver from anger because of what the guy did just like me. He said that while he didn't like the killing parts, but he admitted that while he can hold himself from killing the guy, he will probably give the guy a beating of a lifetime that have a high chance of crippling the guy. Which is probably worse than death.

After that Sakaki started telling me some of his stories when he still working with the FBI. He admits between the stories, while he is really against killing, it's unavoidable for martial artists to have at least one kill in their career as a martial artist. Especially if the martial artist is at a master level like him. Well, maybe not akisame, since the guy style is specialized in subduing the enemies.

After he finished his stories, he asked whether I did the job with my mother or not, I just laughed bitterly.

I still didn't tell the masters of ryouzanpakou about my affiliation with the tempest style, but I didn't tell them not because I didn't want to or didn't trust them. It's more like I'm too lazy to tell them, and they also didn't ask me. So why bother telling them right? Well if they asked, I will tell them. I like them after all.

Since they didn't ask, it's their loss, not mine.
