Summary in gif. This has been posted so many times and yeah I read it every time because it's worth it (that and i have terrible memory). So please finish it.
if was a servicable novel until MC loses the time stone, then the story and narrator just out fight lies and lores rewritten, plotholes and plot traps galore to milk more content becomes frequent. letting enemies go, planting scenarios where ppl just keeps getting lost or detained instead of preps and real thoughts towards the original plot. its fairly terrible writing but whatever real ideas that werent blatantly plaigarized is decent although unconvincing. extremely inefficient.
Translation is good. Typical Chinese ‘Young Master’ MC though so expect “his amazing physique prevented this” and “chiseled muscles look like they were made by a sculptor” to be dropped pretty frequently. Constant nerfing of his abilities which is dumb because the strength limit in Marvel is absolutely insane, and would have been bearable if it was a straight up nerf from the beginning. Instead we have a MC which in one chapter can run a 100m dash in 3 seconds one chapter and then 20 chapters later is stated to not have a speed enhancement. Besides that theres lots of the old ‘women swoon over the MC trope’. Supposedly not a harem, but I read up to the 80s before I dropped, so I dunno how believable that is. Finally, the authors naming sense and forced interactions between the MC and females killed the story for me. Overall, slightly below avg junk read, so passable if you’re tired of looking for something decent and just want something to distract your thoughts.

Worth it -----🤩🤩😍really the story is fantastic but the development of side characters is a bit lame but overall 👌
The novel is overall well written. The biggest issue I have with it is that the mc has zero/very little impact on the story. Captain America’s story went exactly as it did in the movie same for iron man 1 at which point I left it
Just turn off you brain and enjoy reading dont question anything and you will enjoy. Cause if you take it seriously you will die of brain cancer if not turn into mental 🤪🤪. Read at your own risk.
I fail to understand the lack of negative comments for this fanfic. I decided to stop reading on chapter 49. I am fine with having an mc who is cold and calculating, wanting to adhere to the original plot and intentionally steering events that way. I am also fine with an mc who could not do as he liked due to having insufficient ability. What I am not fine with is an 'intelligent' and 'overpowered' mc with about a dozen abilities to do what he wants who fails to do it because he was 'helpless' in the face of circumstances. The Author is simply forcing the plot by nerfing the mc drastically in those few chapters. The nerfing is both ability wise and intelligence wise. Anyone who has read up to chapter 49 will understand what I mean. Those few chapters were just plain stupid and insulting to my intelligence. This story had so much potential. Sad to see it go this way.
One of the best fanfics to ever exist in my opinion. I won't explain the reason, but It's for yours to taste. I am not being biased, but reading these reviews often mislead people. Everyone has individual liking and that is what differentiates us. But before leaving, give it a chance.
its amazing the story the growth its honestly one of my favorites so far im not completely done reading yet but im still amazed by this work.
Holy Shit, i've read this before or at least the fic this was based on. But the translation always stopped before even the Second World War ended, so its nice to see this.
Translator, get this 5 stars for your awesome translation work. Fanfic is fairly nice, not bad. The card system, is utilized okayish by the protagonist early, but later on, post WW2 situation, the system just becomes mildly useless/ MC just stops using it efficiently. (Like, early novel, MC took every single card, regardless of the rarity, but, post war, when he leaves earth, he becomes arrogant and believes in his strength too much, he no longer remains cautious like he was in early war phase. The system has a 'trade 5 cards for a new card' feature. Early, it makes sense that MC just sacrifices item cards to get new cards because skill cards are precious. But later on, he just focuses on getting 'precious energy' item cards for sacrificing. And won't even look at any skill card below purple rarity. (Aight that's just me ranting) The FL is an OC, well... it is alright. At least it's not like she's a useless woman who MC will make into a unparalleled goddess. So that's a plus for me. I hate those works where author insert a random oc in a fanfic as FL and just pump resources in the pig to make it an "above all and below one" creature... I have nothing against OCs, just that, if I want to read an OC, I will read some original novel, not fanfic. People come to fanfic for... you know... the 'fan'fiction world, not OC world. It's an alright read if you got nothing to do. Plus, the translator did a good work and has stable updates. Hats off to TL for working hard to feed us, his adopted children.

I like the book but every time I hear the Mc's name I think of the kids movie home
dropped chapter 58 I can accept alot due to it being fan fic. of marvel but then having black widow appear, during ww2 just ruins any form of immersion

Well the story started with a good standard but as it progressed to plot can't keep up and you should focus on one mcu I mean either with movies mcu or a mcu with all mcu character like mutants,inhumans and all...not just randomly pop up characters like Wolverine in movie mcu with lame excuses.....after a 100 chaps it becomes kinda boaring.

I like the story, and it is good, but i dislike how every mc comes to the decision to make a family, organization, group, or something of that sort. I prefer when they just go solo and team up whenever needed. Good story, this is just my opinion.

The translation quality is beyond great. I read the entire 225 chapters and there are only a couple of small mistakes present. It still feels not like a translation but like the story was written in English in the first place. I usually spit in the face of webnovel translators and bad fanfic writers but I thank you wholeheartedly DarkShadow95. You are awesome! The story itself is great. It has a bit of a system influence and it's a chinese fanfic... usually chinese fanfics get boring and are all the same... this on the other hand is written carefully by a big marvel fan who loves and respects the source material and has enough creativity to not just timeskip the "empty" timeline until canon continues but uses the blank space to tell his own story. Translation 5 / 5 Story 4.5 / 5 so overall 5 / 5. Please keep up the good work.
