Chapter 201: Set-up
"Am sorry," She tuckled a strand of hair and bit her lower lip.
He took a deep breath and hesitate while walking towards the bed, "Listen, am sorry I raised my voice at you, okay? But you shouldn't drink too much next time. Whether you're pregnant or not, don't do it and–"
He knelt on one knee with his gaze still locked in hers, "Sebastian is a very lucky man. I jealous your relationship with him. It's lovely and everything you told me last night, I'll try to see how it goes."
She replied with a weak smile and nod.
Contemplating for a longtime with his eyes still locked in hers, he hesitated, "There's something I really want to tell you. I know I can't do it especially to someone like you. You don't deserve it."
"What is that?"
He took a deep breath and explained, "Sincerely speaking, Uncle Lee and Aunt Bong-Cha used me to set you up."
"What?" She gasped and sat up properly.
Looking down at his fidgeting fingers, he explained further, "I was told to spend the night with you and fly you with me to Japan until weekend." Lifting his head, "But to someone like you? You don't deserve it Jin-joo."
"Oh my God, you're kidding right? Just pretend to say yes I am kidding." She can't believe her ears.
"Of course I am being serious here." He ran his hands through his face and sighed, "You're a good person, not just good but my very good friend too. I can't do it, It'll hurt you in as much as it'll hurt me too."
Her veins clenched as she balled her hands into a fist, "Why didn't you tell me about this before? You kept it from me and made me make a fool out of myself now my fiancé is going to think I cheated on him."
"I swear, I wanted to but–am sorry. Please don't overlook things. Alright fine, I'll speak with your fiancé and–"
"No, please don't. I've seen Sebastian's angry side a lot of times, he is very wild. You won't be able to leave to tell the story if you finalize anything to him. Trust me."
"Do you think keeping this as a little secret will make things softer? Jin-joo, your fiancé needs to be aware of your whereabouts last night. Forgive me, I didn't think about the troubles coming but–"
Cutting him off, she hoarse, "Yusheng, don't disclose anything to Sebastian, I swear he'll kill you." Wheezing heavily, she shut her eyes in dismay. "Dad, mom, what offense have I made for you two to put my relationship at stake?"

Bong-Cha scrunched her brows at her husband, "Darling, isn't that Sebastian's voice am hearing?"
"Hmm," Lee nodded his head and kept reading the articles in his phone. "Let him continue barking like a dog. When he's done, he will leave."
"From the way he is yelling our daughter's name, am not liking it and I guess he is furious, Lee." She worriedly stated.
"Our daughter is in Japan by now. I trust Yusheng, he'll take good care of her."
Bong-Cha took a deep breath to console herself, "I hope so."
"What are you hoping?"
"Don't you think we're pressuring her too much? I mean, she's pregnant and supposed to be–"
"Finally! You guys are here!" Sebastian clapped his hands.
Keeping his expression neutral, Lee wore a faint smile, "What is it?"
"Where is my bride-to-be?"
Glaring at his wife, Lee tried not to laugh, "Sorry, who's your bride-to-be?"
"Really, I never knew you were a professional actor Mr Kim." Sebastian mocked.
"Listen kid, don't stand there and insult me. I–" He raised his brows after seeing his leagues behind him. Adjusting his glasses, he sigh, "Okay now, let's get one thing right. Firstly, my daughter is not your bride-to-be and secondly, she's not in the country."
"What?"
Barging in, Petra snapped at Bong-Cha, "Oh you will not just sit down there and pretend to be a good mother because you're worse than a serpent."
"What?" Standing up, Bong-Cha narrowed her eyes, "Did you just called me a serpent?"
"I bet you weren't deaf, bitch!"
Calvin quickly held his soon-to-be mother in-law, "Aunt, this is not the time to fight, please."
"Did you know what she did? They sent my soon-to-be daughter in-law out of the country. Yes I heard them a while ago." If only Petra could jump over Calvin's head and smash a punch on Bong-Cha's neck.
"You ingrate! How dare you?!" Before Bong-Cha could retaliate and vent her anger on both Calvin and Petra, Dong-Hyun held her out of nowhere.
Though, he just landed some hours ago and drove to his sister's place after his younger brother Kang-dae called him and told him about their sister's whereabouts.
"Dong-Hyun?"
"Dad,"
"What are you doing in the states? And where is your fiancée?"
"She's with her parents in Victoria, Hong Kong. That aside, where is my sister?"
There was great silence everywhere. Everyone was panting with all eyes on Bong-Cha and Lee.
