Chapter 96: Knowledge, innovation, investment and goal setting

Handing the list and huge cash to her, Petra instructed, "Jin-joo dropped this before leaving. Make sure Sebastian doesn't find out about this because she asked me to keep it a secret."
"Yes ma'am." Mrs Maggie lowered her head and answered.
"These are what she said, the list in your hand is the ingredients of groceries needed to be stuck in the storeroom."
"Excuse me ma'am, but we aren't out of stock yet." She politely reminded.
Tuckling a strand of hair behind her ear, she focused on her breakfast which Jin-joo prepared before leaving.
Pausing for a while, Petra remarked without looking at her, "Yes I know we ain't out of stock yet, but stock the storeroom until full as Jin-joo has instructed."
"Okay ma'am."
"Use the cash for the shopping." Looking at her, she added, "If by chance there's a left over cash, then take it."
Hopefully widening her eyes, Mrs Maggie pointed at herself, "For myself?"
Rolling her eyes, "Yes for yourself, that's only if there is a left over cash, got it?"
"Yes ma'am, thank you ma'am."
"My chauffeur will drop you off and bring you back." She stated before gulping her mug of hot tea.
"Okay ma'am,"
Just as Mrs Maggie left, Sebastian walked in. "Good morning mom." Pecking her cheeks from behind, he took out a seat and sat beside her.
"Good morning Seb, how was your night?"
"Fine thanks. Mom, did you see Jin? I woke up and she was gone." He inquired while pouring tea into an empty tea mug.
"Hmm, she left forty-five minutes ago. She said she had some work to do in the office." Pushing the tray of food to him, she added, "Come on, eat something. She made breakfast for us before leaving."
Letting out a chuckle, he pinched the bridge between his nose, "Typical korean woman."
"Ever since she started cooking in this mansion, I noticed you've stopped eating meals prepared by me or the chefs in the mansion." She complained.
Groaning, he sighed, "So sorry about that but those are bland foods and my taste buds doesn't like them anymore." He carefully sipped from his hot tea before looking at Petra whom was giving him a quizzical expression.
"Like seriously, do I make bland foods?" Placing her hand on her chest, she threw her head back and pretended to be a drama queen, "Oh no, my twenty-eight year old son just insulted my hard damn cooking skills."
"Mom, you're such a drama doll." He chuckled.
Taking a big bite from the sliced bread, Petra remarked with mouth full of food, "Uh huh, be thankful, sooner or later Hollywood will come looking for me."
"So what were you busy discussing with Mrs Maggie?" He inquired before taking a bite from the chicken sandwich.
"Improvement of duties. Why did you ask?" She raised her brows.
Shrugging his shoulders, he shook his head, "Nothing at all."
Pausing for a while, she inquired, "How's your knuckles?"
Looking at his knuckles, he answered, "Better than okay."
"Be careful next time, you don't play rough with your body parts. You would have ended up breaking your bones." She chided.
Taking the phone out of his pocket, he looked at the caller ID. Groaning in frustration, he answered, "What is it?"
"Whatcha doing dude?" Without waiting for his reply, Calvin smiled, "We're at Ryan's beach house busy chilling, come join us. And one more thing, bring Jin along."
"Calvin, am having breakfast right now, secondly, Jin is at the office." He sighed.
Widening his eyes, he snapped, "What? Oh you dumbass man, today is Sunday, who goes to work on Sunday. Better take Jin out from wherever you're hiding her."
Rolling his eyes, he massaged his head, "Why will I be hiding my woman for no good reason?"
"Are you serious, she's at work today?" Groaning in frustration, Calvin grinned, "Love hardworking women just like her and Nelly."
"Speaking of the weird princess were is she?" He inquired before gulping the mug of hot tea.
"Right here in my arms as usual." He grinned.
Glancing at his watch, he informed, "Okay, I'll see what I can do, am not too sure if she's going to come with me. But I'll just give a try."
"You're going to get her, right?" He beamed.
Getting fustrated of his best friend's awkward behaviors, Sebastian rolled his eyes, "Yes I'm going to get her Mr curious."
"Great, hurry up, it's gonna be a hot fun for the newly wedded couple and us too." Without waiting for him to say anything, Calvin hung up.
"Calvin called?" Petra curiously inquired with her brows up.
"Yup," Shoving the phone into his pocket, he stood up. Pecking the top of her head, "I gat to go now."
"Okay, see you later." She smiled.
