Chapter 68: Better half
Realizing the route she was heading to, Sebastian raised his brows at her, "Mom, no teasing please."
Cupping her cheeks which were now slight red, Petra squealed, "As you wish my dear."
Giving her a peck on her forehead, Jin-joo smiled, "I'll be back shortly, okay?"
"Of course I will sweetheart."
Rolling his eyes over his mother's dramatical expressions, Sebastian made his way towards her and kissed the top of her head. "I won't stay long, I promise."
"Don't be stupid Seb, if you like spend the rest of the year in the party, I don't mind. After all, you ain't going there alone." She stated before turning towards Jin-joo, "Am I right dear?"
"Yes."
Without saying anything, he guided Jin-joo out and followed her from behind.

Outside
Tightening her grip around one fold of her baggy jeans, Jin-joo had been feeling very awkward since she entered the same car with Sebastian. Its probably her first time to go out with someone in the same car since she joined the music industry.
Even when they were on their way to the venue, she couldn't stop staring through the window, just to avoid direct eye contact with him.
Finally they got to the venue. Staring at the whole place in the compound which was now covered with several luxury cars. Jin-joo breath a sigh of relief, 'Great goodness, they've gotten to their destination' She thinks.
Coming out of the car, she stood quietly and waited for Sebastian to guide her in. Although, there were security guards securing the whole place inside and outside the compound.
"Are you nervous?"
"Pfft, why should I be? I'm a celebrity, people should be crazy and nervous to see me." She proudly remarked. "And you too." She scoffed.
"You think?" He laughed.
"What's funny? Are you making jest of me?" She frowned.
Raising his hands up, he nodded and smiled, "No am not." Putting his hands down, he tuckled them into his pockets, "I think you're right, apparently there are people who will definitely go crazy when you get in."
"Sebastian am so glad you are here." Giving him a hug, the man patted his back, "Its been a longtime dude."
Pulling away, Sebastian smiled, "After decades we still meet again."
"I was almost saying that to him." Giving him a light smack on his shoulder, another man chuckled, "What's up Seb."
"Damn look at these guys, where the hell have you been all these years?"
"Sebastian, we should be the one actually asking you that question. After graduation you and the others disappeared into thin air." Looking at Jin-joo, he smiled, "I can see there's a beautiful celebrity standing beside you."
"I guess she's your better half." The other man added.
Before Sebastian could say anything, Jin-joo faked a smile and slightly waved her hand. "Hi am–"
"Empress Jee!" They beamed.
Giving them a weak smile, she vigorously nodded her head, "That's my stage name but Jin-joo is legal."
Extending his hand towards her but Sebastian took it instead, "My introduction is done, so will you introduce me to the beautiful woman by your side?" Pointing his chin at the heavy pregnant lady.
"Oh yeah," Wrapping his arms around her abdomen, "Meet Trisha, my wife."
Raising his brows, Sebastian inquired, "Wow, Desmond a very big congrats to you. I never knew you were married."
"Ah, its two years now." Kissing her cheek, Desmond smiled, "Right honey?"
"Hmm," Trisha smiled.
"More congrats, a baby is heading on his way." Sebastian stated.
"Actually twins."
Raising his brows, Sebastian exclaimed, "Double shots." Looking at the other man whom was so busy displaying his PDA with his girlfriend, Sebastian inquired, "It seems like you two need to get a room."
"Should we?" Wrapping his hands around her, Michael stated, "Meet the woman behind my joy, Amanda." Kissing her earlobe, "Honey meet my friend and college mate Sebastian Flynn."
Slightly waving her hand, she smiled, "Hi Seb."
"Hi," Looking around, Sebastian inquired, "Where is everyone?"
"They're in. You need to see how they've been asking for you."
"Everywhere is filled, in fact Ryan is a bit pissed off with you. He said he called your phone but you weren't picking up." Desmond added.
"Hmm, I was busy." Before they'll start thinking upsidedown, Sebastian quickly added, "Please lets go inside and join the others."
They nodded and went with him. While Sebastian took jin-joo's hand and took her along with him.
Meanwhile as they were heading towards the mansion, Jin-joo never stopped staring at the handsome hunk by her side from time to time. He was everything stunning at that moment. His facial features, beautiful looks and cute smile, he was perfectly made.
