Chapter 396: I'm not done napping, I'm barred from sleeping

When Isabelle woke up, there was a very slight tug to her body that suggested that what woke her was her rambunctious little kitten.

A moment later she was certain that was the case, as Tenshi softly scolded the kitten. "Snowball, no, leave your mother alone..."

Snowball made a very unhappy sound in response.

The poor thing. It tugged on her heartstrings the way that Snowball's paw - or mouth or whatever - had tugged on her arm a moment before.

She let out a soft, weak chuckle and forced her eyes to open again.

When they were finally fully open, she took in the sight of her sweet husband gently shooing the kitten away.

The kitten was not having it, and kept batting and nipping at him and returning to her side.

"Oh you..." She chuckled as the kitten ran circles on the bed, jumping into the air when Tenshi tried to pick him up, only to dart back to her and butt his head against her arm.
