Chapter 75: How Horrifying

Leta looked back and forth between the two of them. "I'm confused. What power does she have exactly that makes her want to turn it off? You didn't mention yours either. Or how you met that neurologist." 

"It's kind of a long story…" Nathan hedged. "But he and his sister conduct superpower research and that's how they were able to find me. I have Precognition so I can see a few minutes into the future when something bad is about to happen. I had a vision of everything flying off the shelves, which is why we were able to duck in time."

"I have Perceptive Amnesia. People forget I exist as soon as I'm out of their sight. Nathan is a weird exception to that rule because of his power," Sierra added in that same cool tone. 

She normally wasn't like this. It was kind of freaking him out. 

Leta's eyes widened. "O…kay…so what am I supposed to do, follow you? I live here. I only came to fill up my tank."

"You don't work tonight, do you?" Nathan asked.
