Chapter 20: Notice 2:
Hey readers, what's up? It's been about a year huh? 😅 I wrote this to inform you regarding some matters:
So to begin with... Yes. I'm still alive 😁
I originally planned on continuing this story October last year but then I decided to take a break for a bit but eventually decided to go on hiatus because of two things, first, I ended up losing motivation as time went on and second, I wanted to get my fanfic right. I would've had to rewrite the chapters again to get the plot and world background right, right?
Well, the latest episode released for the anime just proved I got the first part right. It was a creature she found in the water under the tree, what that creature was as well as why that place existed was never explained so it is now entirely up to the followers of the story and to me this fanfic's writer. So I wouldn't have to edit the beginning of the story and that's a major relief.
And so there's a good news and a not so good news for you all. The good news is I won't be dropping this story and will finish this till the end. The not so good news is that I won't be releasing a new chapter until the anime has fully concluded because one, I'm basing the plot on the anime even though I've read the manga and know how it ends (it's about the little details which I need to refine) and two, won't it be better for those who watch the anime and don't read the manga if they know how it ends first before I introduce them to how my alternate ending will be? One things for certain to y'all though, Heishi's gonna let the rumbling proceed but he will interfere in what happens before and after. The main plot I've originally designed when I started writing this will proceed as planned but I gotta smoothen out the plot in the middle first so I can properly lay out the foundations.
So I'm sure that's gonna take some time which is a good thing for me since school year's about to end. With an episode released a week, I believe final season part 2's last episode (12 if the reports are to be believed and the latest one is episode 5) will be released sometime between later part of March or early April. Once the last episode is released. I'll officially resume releasing chapters. I might be able to stock up on chapters now to release a bunch of chapters at once or at least ensure a steady release of 1 chapter per day but no promises. I'd most likely end up releasing 2-3 chapter a week but hey, that should be stable enough right? 😅
Regarding any questions or suggestions you may have about this fanfic, feel free to write them on the comment section. Constructive criticism is also welcomed since it helps me grow as a writer (which would really be helpful since I'm planning on releasing more than a dozen original stories... yup... my mind went ahead and created story after story, accumulating inspiration from everything it saw and now I already got the world building, characters, and plotline done for most of them, all I need now is experience so I can properly write and express these stories to whoever is interested in reading them)
