Chapter 220: Cave of Spiders

Trawerr and Wanda watched as the hunters fled, their hurried footsteps echoing in the silent forest. Adrenaline still coursed through their veins, but Trawerr felt a strange sense of calm at his sister's side. He had never seen her so impressive in action, and now, more than ever, he was aware of the unshakable strength she possessed.

The surrounding forest seemed to breathe with them, each leaf swaying gently in the breeze as the two siblings prepared for the next leg of their journey. Trawerr put his sword away, keeping one hand on the hilt in case he needed to use it again. Wanda, on the other hand, seemed completely at ease, as if the previous battle had only been a minor obstacle.

"Come on, Trawerr," she said, breaking the silence, "we need to get to the cave before night falls completely."
