Chapter 79: An Eventful Morning

As one of the maids who had entered the room with a demure air of authority, the room held its breath. "Your Highness," she said, "His Majesty the King awaits your presence in the drawing room." Her voice was soft as she spoke.

The other two maids joined her, their eyes darting over the room looking for the mysterious Crown Prince while they wore respectful but vigilant expressions.

As the scene developed, the room itself appeared to be a witness, illuminated by the gentle morning light.

As she remained covered behind the drapes, Alicia couldn't help but be perplexed by the strange title. Her thoughts were colored with a hint of confusion as she softly asked herself, "Your Highness they say?" She wondered if perhaps the room and its occupant had been misidentified or if there had been a miscommunication.
