~Deep pov~
It was next day afternoon, by the time I woke up.
Yesterday was the day, I was most exhausted in my life.
Spending all my aura on opening the aura nodes really exhausted me.
Today, I was feeling very fresh. Recovering from complete exhaustion of aura is really a great feeling.
~growl~
And exhaustion of aura causes you to be really hungry.
I looked around, I was in an unfamiliar room.
I must have slept in thr dojo, seeing as I passed out after opening aura nodes, Master must have brought me to this room and laid me on the bed.
I got out of the bed and freshened up.
I went to search for food.
I arrived at the dojo, master was teaching other students the Shingen-ryu kungfu.
Master told me the direction to the dining area.
I ate more than normal. I think due to both aura exhaustion and unlocking aura my appetite has increased.
After eating my lunch. I went to the other dojo in the back.
I was testing my physical strength after unlocking aura nodes yesterday.
The increase in physical strength is already good, compared to previous me. my strength increased nearly more than half of the previous strength.
Nen* has the innate ability to increase users physical strength. Although not as much as Enhancers*
The increase in strength, only after a day of unlocking Nen*is already good, I can't imagine what kind of strength a person of Enhacer* category might wield.
I'm starting to understand why Enhancers* don't need to worry about their Hatsu*, the amount of increased strength Nen* brought them is really great.
As I was in my internal monologue, Master Edison came to the dojo.
"Today, I am going to teach you about Ten*.
Ten* is one of the four major principles of Nen*. Ten* means Envelop/Shroud .When you open all your aura nodes, you have to stop the aura from flowing away from your body, while keeping the aura nodes open, you have to make aura flow through and around the body. Ten* gives you a good defence against physical attacks but not much to Nen* enhanced attacks.
To achieve Ten* you have to form a mental key, imagine anything that might help you, once you get that feeling hold on to it. It help the process of learning Ten* much easier.
The state of Ten* gives the feeling of lukeworm, viscous liquid flowing around your body.
Once you achieve the process of Ten*, it can never be forgotten, like cycling and swimming" Master explains me the steps to achieve Ten*.
I followed Master's advice.
I started to imagine the feeling I got when I saw Nen* for the first time, a gentle flame, flowing upwards, calm and serene, unaffected by any wind or the amount of fuel.
As I kept imagining the state of gentle flame, I will my Nen* to flow around me.
Responding to my desire, Nen* start to envelope me, not flowing outward, but around me.
Master was right, I'm getting the feeling, that I will never be able to forget about using Ten*. The 'never be able to forget this feeling' is not about mental memory. It's like muscle memory, even if you forget the knowledge about, how to use Ten*, you would unconsciously know what to do when in a fight of the time you want to defend yourself.
I looked up to master, waiting to see if there is anything that he might want to add to training. He just simply nods at me solemn expression. He stopped feeling surprised about my progress after yesterday.
It's like 'my emotions won't budge, even if you through everything you have at me' expression on his face.
"Well done, you gave completed this step in the first try, even a genius would take anywhere from a week to a month to learn how to use Ten*" master compliments me.
"Next, follow the same procedure and train Ten*, untill you are able to use Ten* almost instantly. We will only move on to the next principle of Nen*, after you are able to enter Ten* state instantly" I nodded at his words.
You can't get into a Nen* battle just after you learn Ten*. You will already be dead before you even have time to enter Ten*.
It's not just Ten*, every Nen* technique should be at this proficient, you should be able to use them in a moments notice. Only then you can considered you are proficient in Nen*.
And I'm not in any urgency to rush my training. The reason I rushed to open aura nodes and learn Nen* is because, I didn't want to get my Nen* initiation by some random guy.
Now I will focus on training Nen* slow and steady, just the way I like it.
And I you just rush the process, you can't get the good feel of things.
Rushing to learn Nen* is just like eating.
You have to savor every little bit, not just devour every thing in one go, because you are hungry. While devouring the food, you will get the taste of food but you will miss out the essence of the food.
Learning the basic principles are the same, you can create Hatsu* even if your Ten* and Ren* are mediocre compared to the well refined once, but you will miss out the essence of Nen*.
Now that I have all the time in the world, I don't need to rush the process of learning Nen*.
I want to take it slow and steady.
Just like how a fruit, which ripens slowly taste delicious, it's also same for the Nen*, steady and deligent refining Nen* has much more quality than a hasty one.
Deciding the plan of action to take during the time I will be learning Nen*, I started to meditate, while maintaining Ten*.
Ten* should be like a second nature to me, before I start to advance to learn the remaining principles of Nen*.
