Time went by really fast. I had sent the sketches to Gavin and he had no clue who the hunter was. He promised to pass the pictures around and get back to me as soon as possible. It had been three weeks now and still nothing.

I knew I needed to give Karen some space so she won't be too attached to me and because of that, I hadn't spoken to her since. I had told Gavin why, when he offered to carry his phone to her so we could speak. He wasn't happy about my behaviour and neither was I, but it was necessary to detach especially with the way we felt for each other, knowing full well that our relationship was doomed.

My mother was still hell-bent on this luna issue that I had become very angry. As an Alpha, I did not need a luna to run my pack. At the rate she was going, I might just end up not claiming any wolf and keeping to myself.
