"Why now?" Orion asked finally, looking at Theseus. "Why come to me now?"
Theseus sighed. "Dumbledore sent us. He believes you're one of the few people strong enough who can stop Grindelwald. He said that if there is one person out there who he can't see through then its you. Your skills, your experience—that overwhelming power. That exactly we need it right now."
Orion's eyes widened slightly at the mention of Dumbledore.
'That old fart, he still in the business of manipulating others and asking heroes.' Orion wanted to curse, he wasn't even sure why Dumbledore think that he could help. He never shown his power to Dumbledore.
'Could it be that Credence told Dumblefore about me…?'
"Oh…why not ask Dumbledore himself to act, I am sure he perfectly capable of stopping Grindelwald himself."
"No can't do, he can't… believe it there is a big reason behind it…" Mr Auror reply with a little irritation on his face.
'Oh they know ? Much earlier than I expected…'
Newt nodded, his voice soft but firm. "Will you help."
Orion leaned back, considering everything. He'd spent so long chasing after Eric, letting it consume him. And for what? A ghost that might never appear? Meanwhile, the world was falling into darkness, and here were people asking for his help, people who were fighting for something bigger than themselves.
Finally, Orion looked back at the three of them. "I gave my word, that I will not interfere.
Fighting Grindelwald is not my fate." Orion said and immediately a frown appeared on all three of them.
They looked like they wanted to purse him more but he continue talking.
"I will not act against Grindelwald… but as for saving those people, well I don't mind. That my bottom line…" Orion replied Still not sure what he was saying was the right choice or not.
At this all three of shown complicated faces but then they agree.
Theseus nodded, relief flashing across his face. "Well that a start, Just come with us and you will soon realize what really happening in the world. I heard that you acted once just to save a child… there are many children who die nowadays… I hope you will have change in heart when you see it.."
Orion purse his lips, not even sure how to response to this, his mind already racing with thoughts on how he should act to maintain the future as it was, as much as possible.
Tina gave him a warm smile. "Thank you, John. We need all the help we can get."
Orion turned to her, a small grin forming. "Just remember I am not coming to fight Grindelwald, only saving others when I get a chance. Nothing more…
They all nodded, the tension easing slightly.

Orion stood with Newt, Tina, and Theseus at the edge of Paris, gazing out at the city shrouded in a dark, eerie veil. It hung over the buildings like a thick, black curtain, covering every street and alleyway with an unnatural gloom. They had followed Grindelwald's trail here, hoping to protect as many lives as possible, but the sight before them hinted at just how powerful and dangerous their adversary had become.
"I'll remind you again," Orion said, his voice low but firm, "I'm not here to fight Grindelwald. My purpose is to save as many people as I can and get them out safely. I'll leave dealing with Grindelwald to the rest of you."
Theseus pursed his lips like he wanted to say something but he nodded nonetheless, his face lined with determination. "We understand. We're grateful you're here, even if you're not here to fight him directly."
Tina glanced at Orion, her eyes reflecting the shadows cast by the ominous spell. "It's enough that you're with us," she said. "Can you do something about this…?" She asked, not sure whether John can do anything about this.
Though he was powerful, there was no doubt about this, but this was ancient dark magic.
Orion took a deep breath as he studied the dark magic. The curtain wasn't just some defensive barrier—it pulsed with energy, as if it were alive, watching them.
He was knowledgable with ancient magic but when it comes to dark magic, he had no idea.
He had countless way to handle dark magic but even to do that, once first mush understand what kind of dark magic they are dealing with in the first place.
This veil here, It was meant to instill fear, Specially targeting No Maj but that can't be it right…
There was something more which this dark magic do which he is not getting.
"This is no ordinary spell," Orion said.
"It's a form of dark magic, probably something related to sacrifice. This kind of barrier isn't meant to keep people out or trap them but rather its preparing for a bigger magic, a sacrificial magic."
"This spell is meant to play on people's minds mainly targeting No Maj, feeding off their fear, trapping them in a state of despair. People won't be able to see through it—they'll feel lost and powerless inside."
Theseus clenched his fists, his voice steely. "This is the same thing which happen before the last city he attacked, everyone was was dead there before he could even reach the place…."
"Can you do something…?" Tina asked again.
Orion nodded. "I certainly can. If you want I can directly break the spell and purify it right now. But the moment I do that, those followers of Grindelwald will come after us almost immediately" Orion said, leaving the decision to them. He will do whatever they want.
"I understand… then please do it. As long as you can break this spell, we can handle those dark wizards." Newt's brother sure was confident.
Orion has no opinion about this. He did just as said.
Orion closed his eyes, focusing deeply. Raising his hands, he summoned a powerful, brilliant light, pure and untarnished by any darkness.
'Been a while since I use Pure magic like this… my wand surely is not suitable for this kind of pure magic…' Orion though as he felt resistance in his wand, pure magic just like dark magic could be picky, very picky…
It glowed like a small sun, expanding with a hum of energy as he held it above his head.
With a focused push, Orion released the light, sending waves of pure magic surging outward, washing over the entire city. The dark veil dissolved as the light flooded every corner, alley, and street, purifying the air and lifting the suffocating weight of Grindelwald's spell. Shadows writhed and shrieked, unable to withstand the pure force as it drove them away, leaving the city bright and clear once more.
Newt, Tina, and Theseus watched, awestruck by the sight of Orion's power. Even seasoned Aurors had rarely seen magic so pure and immense. Meanwhile, Grindelwald's followers staggered, clutching their heads as the purity seared through them, disrupting their dark auras and rendering them vulnerable.
As the last traces of darkness faded, Orion lowered his hands.
"Done, Pairs is free. Now, you should get ready to fight… things are soon gonna turn troublesome…"
