Chapter 93: Chapter 93 : Christmas Break
"Finally" Orion shouted as he inhaled the pure fresh air of Christmas in. Well, it was not Christmas yet, but this was enough as from today his beloved 1 whole week of vacation was starting.
And thus from today, he took a break from his daily morning routine and decided to just rest and spend some quality time with his friends. This time around, all but just one is staying back in Hogwarts.
This someone was Rose, while Hermione, Ron and even him will be spending their 1 week of vacation outside.
"Oh don't worry, we will be back before you know it," Hermione comforted Rose.
Orion is not that much worried about Rose as he puts Dobby on bodyguard duty while he is not in Hogwarts.
"So where are you going," Daphne asked. She too was going back to her house.
"I am going back to handle my business. Although I put everything on my partners but that is not good. I too need to take responsibility here and there." Was Orion's textbook example, the real reason was something else entirely.
"Oh if you are free then why not come to Greengrass Manor for Christmas? " Daphne asked nonchalantly but Orion knew that it was hard to suddenly ask this for her.
But even more than that, she did it to get a little more close to him and gather more information on him for Nick.
"Sure, I would love to, as long as you are okay with a muggle-born coming to your house," Orion teased but agreed.
"Huh don't be an idiot, the Greengrass family never has discriminated based on blood pureness," Daphne huffed but still looked happy.
[Do you even have the time to visit there ?] Merlin asked.
'I have to, Nick is using her sister as leverage, if I can cure her then I can stop her without doing anything excessive while also winning brownie points with her and the Greengrass family.
This will ultimately add a strong alliance on my side,' Orion replied inside his mind, still smiling at Daphne.
[Oh, since when did you start to play politics,] Merlin had a narrowed look.
'What are you talking about, this ain't politics just helping out a friend while also forming a good relationship which might be useful in the future,'
[You sure this is not because she is cute and that memories of her you saw. What kind of good relationship are we talking about here?] Merlin asked.
Orion just ignored the question and agreed with Daphne.

After exchanging some greetings with his professors and friends, he was ready to depart. Rose was not happy but Orion promised to make it up to her when he came back. He already planned to train her and this can be used at the right time.
He also planned to share some Christmas gifts with others, but that will be later, right now he needs to get going.
"Come on, you will be late for the Hogwarts Express," Hermione shouted.
"Yes yes, but Hermione I never said that I am taking the Train ?" Orion said as he heard a familiar sound above him.
"huh...? but then how you will travel, with your broom ?" Hermione asked, Rose told her how insane Orion's broom was, it was totally possible to travel back on it just like how he used to come here on the broom.
"I was about to do something like that but not any more," Orion said as he pointed upwards.
Hermione looked and saw A red bird approaching them fast.
As Hermione, she was pretty much knew everything needed to know about a Phoenix.
"You know you sometimes show off too much, I am jealous," Hermione huffs.
"You won't be if I ever told you how I met RED," Orion replied remembering that night when he lost RED, his dog. And that bloody vampire.
"Anyways, bye," Orion said smugly and raised his hands up and just at that time, red came forth and Fire surged around Orion. Started to engulf in entirely. And the next second he was gone.
"Huff... he acts like he fought some kind of demon or something," Hermione just huffed in annoyance but then remembering how Orion fought that Troll, there was a slight blush.

Unlike how others might have thought, Orion didn't come directly back to his room in Leaky Cauldron. No, he found himself in the middle of a jungle. Almost a death jungle with the most horror-like vibes.
"This ain't it, we need to work on your teleportation my friend," Orion looked around and then said in a deadpan voice.
Good thing others don't know that he arrived at the wrong destination after that cool exit.
"Gawk," Red chirped with annoyance.
"Yeah yeah, you are better than before so yes. You did good," Orion threw a sweet candy at his friend and started to walk. More like sprinting. And why not when you have the endurance and speed of a Unicorn?
He knew the general direction where he wanted to go at least. Under just 13 minutes of sprinting, he soon arrived where he wanted to.
[So this is the place, which took you so long to find] Merlin asked.
"Yup, I would have long come here if only I knew where it is," Orion said after looking at a dilapidated hut.
"This is where Dumbledore found the Gaunt Ring. Finding this place was tough as hell. But finally, I am here." Orion said as he moved closer.
[This place rig of black magic,] Merlin said as his face distorted.
"I know, I better absorb any magic which might activate any form of the curse upon entering," Orion said before even moving any closer to the hut, he bent down and put his hands on the ground, starting to absorb all the magic around.
[You should be grateful that even after absorbing black magic, your technique converts it to raw magical energy and it doesn't affect you]
"Yeah yeah, I am eternally grateful and all that shit, now let me concentrate,"
It took him 15 minutes to digest all that magic, but he has to say that that hit the spot. Now he can finally move on.
Moving closer to the small door which was barely holding on he raised his hand up.
"I always wanted to do this after playing Witcher 3," Orion smiled as a powerful Force shock released from his hand and broke down the door in front of him.
"Ah, I miss gaming. I couldn't even complete the game back then," Orion complained.

Chapter 94: Chapter 94 : Christmas Plan
Orion slowly entered the hut, making sure that there was nothing suspicious there, although he absorbed all the magic in the area but magic is not the only thing that can be dangerous.
Looking around he only found a small area inside, there is hardly any space to hide something.
"Find then time for the treasure hunt," There was a devious smile on Orion's face.
Extending his hand, he started moving everything around, there were many magical signatures in here, but it was hard to pinpoint the one he was looking for.
Took him some time but with the help of Force, he soon found the one thing which he was looking for.
[I guess this is it,] Merlin looked at the box Orion was holding. Out of all the dark magic here, the connection with dark magic in this is the strongest.
"I too guess so," Orion said with a smile and opened the box.
And inside he found an expensive-looking ring, it was golden with a back stone embedded on top of it.
"Jack Pot,"
[No, don't touch it, you know what it did to Dumbledore,]
"I know, I know,"
Orion slowly extended his finger and Force acted with his will. Soon the Ring started to float as he let go of the box.
[What are you doing ?] Merlin asked as he saw Orion not directly putting the ring in his pendant. He raises his other hand and with Force grabs onto the stone itself.
'Of course, I am removing the resurrection stone from the cursed Horcruxe.'
And after putting some force, snap out the stone from the ring. Without even thinking further he put the ring in his pendant but the deadly hallow was still floating in front of him.
"You never said what will happen if I absorb a Deadly Hallow. I remember you said that this was created by death with the law of death or something like that".
[You are still not strong enough to absorb magic related to Law. It can be dangerous. And yes deadly hallow are cursed items so by death herself. Don't try to use it in any way or form] Merlin sounded serious.
Orion though is sceptical, his technique was never given to him by Merlin, he was only listening to Merlin in the absorption case because he knew better than him about magic. He personally believes that he can just absorb it without many issues. But still, he will do what Merlin said.
"Fine but I will be taking that power, sooner or later," Orion said as he put even the resurrection stone back in his pendent.
"Alright, now time to get out of here, but before that. I better erase all the evidence," Orion mutters but Merlin could swear Orion just wanted to destroy things.
Getting out of the hut, he raised his hands up as fire came to life on top of his palm.
[Hey!! when did you learn this] Merlin asked in surprise seeing the fireball forming on top of Orion's palm.
"Oh this, this is nothing hard. It's just like how you told me earlier. I just needed to make my intent clear and add magic and magic will do the rest. I am doing the same here." Orion said as he brought forth another fireball on his other hand.
He was controlling the fire excellently as the fireball was just hovering one inch above his palm but not touching him, not burning him and moving as he moved his hand. Merlin was honestly impressed.
Then Orion brings both of his hands together while facing towards the hut in a sideway direction.
"Kamehame.....

-Diagon Alley-
"Ah that hit the spot," Orion uttered as he finished another serving of food. He was currently in Leaky Cauldron. The first thing he asked for was food and this time around he was paying for it. His business was looking good and to pay back for all the help Tom, the owner of the bar had given him, he decided to pay for his meals and room from now on and also gave good money to him to renovate the bar.
[How can you eat like this, we were this close to a forest fire all thanks to you, idiot] Merlin shouted.
So back in the forest, while Orion was playing with fire, he ended up burning more than just the hut. Good thing that he was later able to put the fire out otherwise the entire forest would be history by now.
'Oh come on, I said I am sorry, didn't I? And I put the fire out as well. Give me some break would ya,' He drank another glass of butter beer.
[Anyway so what the plan for Christmas] Merlin asked as he sat down opposite to Merlin, usually he stayed in his small chibi version and stayed beside Orion all the time.
In fact, nowadays, Orion had hardly seen Merlin coming back to his normal self.
"You are much more impressive when you are this size, Gandalf," Orion said as Merlin looked exactly like Gandalf from the Lord of the Rings movies.
[I will take that as a compliment, now tell me what are you planning.] Merlin asked and there was a smug look on Orion's face. He slowly started to learn how to hide his thoughts in front of this old man.
"It's simple enough, Today I will do nothing and just rest. That left me with 6 more days.
I will mostly look after my own business, break into Gringotts and take that bloody cup and while I'm at it, maybe also absorb that dragon down there. Attend the Christmas party at Daphne's house and while I'm at it, I will also see what exactly her is sister facing. Without knowing the problem I can't fix it now can I," Orion said.
[Hmm okay, so that will be a task for you. Go and find what has happened to that little girl and cure her, the time limit is before Hogwarts starts again.]
" Hey one minute...., didn't you hear me, I will meet her only at Christmas time. That the last day of vacation, you expect me to pull out a cure for her out of my ass in that spot. I demand more time," Orion said firmly.
[Oh really, and here I thought I would finally start to teach you the Law of Space. Very well then I guess you just don't value the knowledge coming from this old man. Oh boy...youngsters in my time used to be so diligent.....] Merlin said coly as was planning to continue but Orion interrupted.
"Okay okay stop,..." Orion interjected with an irritated look on his face. Right now he was fighting against his greed and his lazy self.
No doubt Merlin doesn't want him to be lazy, this damn old man just can't see him in peace. He looked at the old man who was checking out a busty woman sitting a little further and his eyes twitched.
'I want to rest, but this is my chance to finally learn Space Law. I will have to work like a corporate slave if I try to find a cure for that girl under this week but Space magic. Damn, Merlin, he knows I want to cosplay Gojo and now is taking advantage of that...'
"..."

"Fine, I will do it," Orion said with a sigh, ultimately the greed won.
[Tck, I knew he would fall for it. Boy you are not even 100 of my age, you are just too young to deal and negotiate with me hehehehehehe]
