Chapter 119: Chapter 119 : Following The Spiders 2
Rose though got the information she wanted, and she also felt pretty stupid considering she didn't see the sign of this thing as a huge snake while only she could hear the voices and none other, she was now more concerned about how to get out of the situation in front of her.
"Okay, thank you Mr. Spider for helping me out, I need to get going now. Otherwise, I will be punished," Rose said and slowly started to back away but at this time she heard.
"My children never hurt Hagrid, but even I can't save you from them, little human. Hagrid friends maybe you are, but they are Hungry," came the scary voice and Rose immediately gulped.

(Rose POV)
Suddenly, the air was alive with the skittering of countless tiny legs. Panic clenched at my chest as the ground beneath me seemed to quake with the approach of spiders – hordes of them, emerging from the shadows.
"Wait, what's happening?" I stammered, glancing around in horror as the multitude of eyes fixated on me. Aragog's offspring, his kin, surrounded me in a living sea of hairy legs and glinting fangs.
A piercing screech echoed through the forest as a particularly large spider lunged toward me. Fear surged, and without a second thought, I bolted. Branches snagged at my robes, but adrenaline propelled me forward as the forest became a blur of twisted trees and moonlit shadows.
The cacophony of spider hisses and clicks pursued me, and I dared not look back. My breaths came in ragged gasps, matching the erratic rhythm of my pounding heart. Fear fueled my sprint as I pushed through the underbrush, desperate to escape the advancing arachnid onslaught.
The forest seemed endless, a labyrinth of gnarled roots and tangled vegetation. The webs of the spiders became obstacles, and I fought through them, my hands clawing at the sticky strands. Panic threatened to overwhelm me, but I couldn't afford to succumb to terror.
But then while running, my leg got twisted and I fell. "Ahh," a sharp pain rang in my leg as a groan escaped my lips.

But that was not important as what was more important was to get out of the forest. But no the moment she was about to get up another sharp pain from her twisted ankle rang in her body.
She took out her wand but she didn't have any particular offence magic right now. Only Expelliarmus.
Spotting the spiders quickly closing, She shot a few spells towards them but there was no way that she could have held all of them back.
There were thousands if not millions of those 8 legs monsters around her.
"Ahhaaa" She screamed out the moment one got on her. They started to cover her. Some even were about to sting her with their position as another fearful scream was let out of her.
"Boom"
A loud shout came and all the spiders were blown away from her. Then she saw someone landing right next to her and in that person's hand was fire.
With him masterfully controlling fire, the person created a ring of fire about them to keep the spiders away before finally turning towards her.
This person was none other than, "Orion," Rose shouted out as she almost wanted to run up to him and jump at him. But her ankle holds her back. She also noticed that he was completely out of breath, must have run here to find her. Some guilt weighed down on her.
"We will talk later about this," Orion looked at her with much-irritated eyes. He was there resting in the infirmary with peace and now here he was surrounded by thousands of spiders and one red loli almost on the verge of tears.
Those words was enough to stop what Rose was thinking and immediately close her mouth.
"But that can come later, I have to first deal with this guy here," Orion said and fire once again came out from his hands.
Without hesitation, Orion conjured a protective shield, fending off the advancing spiders. The air crackled with magic as he seamlessly transitioned into wandless fire spells, flames dancing at his fingertips. The spiders recoiled, hissing and clicking, as the enchanted fire consumed the webs that hung between the trees.
Orion's wandless fire magic blazed to life, a brilliant display of controlled chaos. With swift and precise movements, he directed the flames, creating a fiery barrier between them and the arachnid onslaught. The forest erupted into a spectacle of magical fire, the flames casting a warm glow against the encroaching darkness.
But again he didn't just stop there as he almost lit up the entire forest as he started to burn the spiders of all sizes around him. He knew that it was Hagrid's pet, in a way, but who cares? He just wanted to absorb them but absorbing any won't do. He has to absorb the strongest one out of all.
As the spiders retreated, Orion turned to me, a mixture of concern and determination in his eyes. "Are you alright, Rose?"
She nodded, catching her breath, the flames casting flickering shadows across his face. "Thank you," she managed to say, she wanted to say more. Much more but nothing could come to her mouth after seeing his eyes which usually are soft but now were glaring at her with concern and anger.
Orion, his gaze unwavering, surveyed the scorched surroundings. "We will talk later, but till then stay here under the fire circle and shield. I will come after taking care of those spiders." Orion said and before she could say anything, he was gone.
[Don't kill all of them, you will disturb the natural food chain of the forest] Merlin added as he saw Orion's fire getting more intense as he got nearer to the giant spider.
"I know, I will reduce their numbers and get the biggest one and that's it," Orion replied.

Fighting with the spider shouldn't be that hard, MC took down a dragon after all. I believe it should be easy enough.

Chapter 120: Chapter 120 : Following The Spiders 3
The Forbidden Forest echoed with the hisses and clicks of Aragog's offspring as Orion faced the colossal spider himself. Aragog, with an air of ancient malevolence, skittered forward, mandibles clacking in a challenge.
[I think you should first take care of all these distractions.] Merlin seeing all the spiders around said as he too didn't like spiders.
'No talking when I'm fighting old man,' Shouted Orion back as he rushed out.
Orion summoned the force around him, creating a protective barrier against the impending arachnid onslaught. Flames danced at his fingertips as he unleashed wandless fire magic, sending torrents of enchanted fire toward the advancing spiders. Burning many of them away but still not targeting all of the spiders just like what Merlin said.
Orion moved with a fluidity that belied the intensity of the encounter, each spell calculated and precise. His force and fire kept all the spiders away from him, although he also had to kill other spiders but the first objective was always to absorb the biggest one.
Actually, he always planned to absorb those giant spiders but just not this quick. He was expecting the end of this year or next.
Aragog, sensing the tide turning, attempted a retreat, his enormous form attempting to fade into the shadows. But Orion, fueled by greed... I mean determination, intercepted, conjuring a forceful gust of wind that enveloped the giant spider.
[You are burning the forest you idiot, hold back or don't use fire,] Merlin shouted.
'Damn environmentalist.' Orion just complained inside and kept on rushing towards the spider while still setting everything on fire.
[You monster, think about the poor forest]
'TCH'
"Running won't save you, Ara... what was your name again you overgrown shame of a spider," Orion declared, his voice carrying an authoritative edge. The force of his magic restrained the colossal arachnid, preventing escape.
Aragog, after seeing how fast Orion was, knew that it was futile to resist and thus now he only had one option, to save himself and his children he had to fight.
And thus started Orion's fight with the giant spider. Rushing at him, Orion's fist was on fire and then he punched out, and Aragog jumped back avoided the fire punch and then snapped at Orion.
Orion just raised both of his hands and let his force work here, unlike last time, his force was much stronger, especially after absorbing that dragon. Orion was much stronger now. Just not strong enough to handle someone like Nick Iron.
His power was on display as the giant spider never was able to reach back to the ground as Orion's force stopped him. Spiders are usually not that heavy even this big of a spider. Maybe it weight a little more than a horse. 'Maybe'.
"I can't do red or blue but here is something I learned, check it out," Orion said with a smirk and then pushed his hands down, smacking the giant spider to the ground, all eight legs were spread out and he couldn't stand up.
"It's not gravity manipulation but force can achieve something similar," Orion smirked but then heard more spiders coming towards him.
"All right I need to end this quick," Orion grumbled and jumped on top of the spider and started to absorb magic from the giant spider.

By the time Orion was done, he only needed a burst of his Conqueror's Haki. [Its law of presence]...
...Oi don't break the fourth wall, it's only limited to me the author...
Anyway with that the smaller spiders were taken care of and then he went to Rose. Did not even say anything as he just took out his broom and taking the girl in her arms slowly flew back to Hogwarts.
He didn't talk at all while doing this as he was acting like he was upset and angry at Rose, second, he was also handling the recently absorbed magic to settle down. Usually, it's not a problem but if the power is too much then it hinders him from focusing and even acts a little strange.
Thinking about it, Orion just brought the girl back to Hogwarts and put her back in the same bed he was sleeping just a moment ago.
Rose was very nervous at this time, looking around she noticed Hermione was still there, all petrified.
"I have much to ask you, but honestly I don't think that I need to shout at you about just how dangerous what you did was, right," Orion said with a small frown.
Hearing this Rose nodded slowly with still fear-filled eyes. She was shivering, feeling like those spiders were still crawling on her body.
"You are okay," Orion asked, it was not hard to say that she was shaken by those spiders. Shouting on her right now was not the right thing to do.
Sighing, he just sat beside her. "Spiders," Orion said and the expected wince he was expecting came from the red-haired girl.
"Don't think too much about it Rose," Orion slowly put his hand on her shoulder pulling her a little closer. To even his surprise, Rose didn't just lean at him but directly hugged him already voice breaking.
"I... I thought that I would...
'Yup, this is the normal reaction. She is just 12 and if something like that would happen to a 12-year-old then of course this would be the reaction. Harry Potter might be the chosen one but this here is just a normal girl. A bug crawling on her left her shaken while the boy who lived was slaying snakes 30 times his size at this age. But that won't do, knowing her future, she needs to get stronger,'
"But I came in time right, so forget it." Orion just comforted her until she just fell asleep.
"I really need to make her stronger, otherwise it will go south as soon as something really dangerous comes her way.
Harry Potter had plot armour, this little girl got none." Orion sighs, seeing one other thing adding to his long list of things that he has to do.
"Now while she is asleep, I need to find out why she went there in the first place, the reason is apparent that she was there to learn more about what's crawling in the Hogwarts sewer system.
But how come she knows where to go," Orion muttered to himself and finally decided to enter into Rose's head, he needed some answers now.
