For Nia, a shut-in teen with anxiety issues and a massive guilt complex, a single missed dose of her medication has drastic consequences when she unlocks her long-hidden supernatural powers! To worsen matters, Nia is a 'Catalyst' - she has the potential to awaken hidden powers in other beings, making her a target for both humans and monsters alike.
But it’s not just monsters that are dangerous—Nia’s love life is treading in murky waters. She’s drawn to Elias, an alluring Myserian twice her age who’s holding his heart at bay. Can Nia find a way to make Elias open up to her, or will the trauma of his past relationships keep them apart?

I found this novel to be a refreshing change from the typical female-led stories I've read in the past. The protagonist faces genuine and relatable problems that made her feel like a well-rounded and realistic character. The background and depth of the story also added to my enjoyment of the novel. Overall, I highly recommend it as a good read.
I haven't been on this forever and picked up one of these at random. So far I like it a decent bit and am gonna give it 5/5 for support because it do be the new.
As the author it should be me who breaks the ice here. In this story you will find a female protagonist who's fighting her own childhood trauma while chasing after taboo love with an older man. She'll discover a world she never knew but was always right on the edge of. Her friends will hold her up and she will be their support. There will be heart ache, monster fights, flirting, dubious consenting kisses and visiting other worlds so stay tuned!
Great beginning, perfect synopsis, really represents the story, a masterpiece so to say, if I could give more than five stars, I would definitely do it. Great combination of action, fantasy and romance, keep it up, looking forward to more chapters.
The 1st chapter is ohh la la la ~ 🙀🙈😆 It made me want to read more. Looking forward in the development of the story 🥰
An explosive opening with well-written prose and intriguing characters! I wish my panic attacks could give me powers...maybe one day! Definitely worth being cautious if you get triggered reading other characters' anxiety, but I quite enjoyed seeing how the MC's powers manifested—and the steamy tension between the characters is a great setup!
