The day whisked by in a blur, each moment seamlessly blending into the next until Ren found himself at the end of his hospital routine, taking his final dose of medications. 

From one department to another, his day had been a flurry of activities. Medical check-ups, therapeutic treatments, and the demanding regimen in the life cabin, where the soothing warmth somehow managed to both invigorate and exhaust him.

Glorin, his persistent yet encouraging instructor, had pushed him through another grueling session, refining his useless body with unwavering attention. 

By the time Ren returned to his room, every muscle in his body hummed with a pleasant ache.

The thought of reheating the dumplings he had saved earlier felt like an insurmountable task. Let alone cooking a new dish. 

Even the simple act of eating seemed beyond his current energy levels. Instead, Ren mechanically swallowed another nutrient solution, its bland taste filling his stomach.
