Chapter 84: Greed

Ren had no idea how to deal with his mother. He was letting his emotions lead him by the nose.

He did know how to cherish a motherly figure. However, his care was only limited to his grandmother.

Moreover, he didn't want any more negative emotions to stay buried in his heart. If his broken soul demanded that he confront Roxina, then he would gladly do so.

Anyway, he did give her a chance to live a happy life. She did not cherish it, so she should not blame him for exposing her real face.

Taking a few deep breaths, Ren steadied his erratic heartbeat. With his back straight and arms crossed over his chest, he looked directly at Roxina, his gaze unwavering.

"Why? Why are you here then? You have nothing to do with me, no?"
