After such a rather eventful day, Noboru closed his eyes, hoping to drift into a dreamless sleep. 

Alas, it was not meant to be. 

He had barely closed his eyes, he could hear her soothing voice. In the next moment, the blurry grey fog gave way to the goddess of life. 

Euthymia. 

It didn't take long for her to take note of him. The Tengu sighed and hoped his body would pull him back. But this time, the succubus reached out to him. 

"If my dear crow is here already, why not keep me company for a little while?" She had a happy, playful voice. By now, the grass and flowers covered her legs as if she was becoming one with the ground. 

"Where is my master?" 

"You still call him 'master'?" She chuckled. "Even though you are free."

"It's how I've always addressed him. He saved me after all."

"Oh? Did he really?" Her smile disappeared.

Noboru frowned. "What are you implying?" 

"Don't Tengu clans live reclusively?"
