Chapter 204: Lazing the Day Away

Just before the first rays of light could even break over the horizon, Luca woke up in a cold sweat with his heart racing.

His arms were still around Sophia so, as quietly as he could, he escaped his omega and went into the bathroom where he stood there with his hands pressed against the beige-tiled countertop. The coldness felt good against his palms and made him feel more grounded.

As he looked down at the state of his naked body, he knew that he was going to go into his rut that day. It was terrifying to do it without any suppressants in his system. Based on the pain in his lower stomach, a panicked thought inched its way into his brain and he thought of begging someone for suppressants. He didn't want to be out of control in front of Sophia even though she had said more than a few times that she would do anything for him while he was in his rut.
