Chapter 324: His Future

The alpha didn't know how to handle what he was witnessing. 

As Sophia obliviously rolled onto her back in her sleep, a pregnant body was revealed to him. 

He went through a plethora of thoughts as they rushed in. They struck him like the five stages of grief until he finally learned acceptance. 

First, he had to convince himself that she didn't betray him. Then he racked his brain for how long they had been apart or if she was in her heat. Had his suppressants been out of his system long enough for something like that to happen? 

He wasn't expecting it but, when the acceptance finally rolled in, tears sprang in Luca's eyes. 

He stumbled forward until he was crouched next to the bed and he placed his chin on the mattress next to her round stomach. 

"Sophia," he managed to say. "Please wake up."
