Chapter 31: The party

The elevator dinged and I got off mindlessly walking down the hall for my mind was still in a puddle.

My breath hitched as I remember how he held my throat and stared deeply into my eyes, and I traced my finger over my lip as I remembered how we kissed with such passion.

I had never once in my life been kissed like that and I honestly did not know how to feel.

Yeah sure I've had a boyfriend, but he was the worst and I would rather not remember him for I had came to the city to get away from him and the past.

I can only hope that he doesn't find me.

"Marianna!" I heard Maria yelled as she grabbed my arm pulling me into the room as after finding me floating around in the halls, "where have you been chica? Where is Mr. Martinez?"

I looked at her with love sick eyes as I shrugged giggling like a fool, "I don't know. Is he here? Is he there? Is he even anywhere *giggles*"

"What? Have you gone mad? Are you drunk already?" she asked concerned and I giggle again booping her nose.
