Chapter 27: Mother knows best

I guess the saying 'Mother knows best' really was true, for just like Miss Angelina had said he did came back for me.

"Let's go." he said as he walked into the movie room and I nodded getting up right away not willing to risk him leaving me, again.

"It was nice seeing you guys and having dinner again. I will see you soon okay." I said waving them goodbye as I left, and they too bid me farewell, and I ran after Mr. Martinez who seemed to have been taking purposefully long strides.

I finally made it out side to the car and I tried to open the door to the back seat, but it was locked.

"That's okay. I'll use the other door." I thought running around the other side of the car, but as luck would have it, it was also locked.

I sighed as I ran back around to the other side to the passenger's side, and lo and behold, it was open.

I reluctantly got in and closed the door behind me pulling on the seat belt and positioned my self to look out the window.
