Synopsis
A young man is thrust into the unforgiving world of Horizon Zero Dawn as an outcast. Will he survive, carving out a place for himself in this harsh, machine-filled wilderness? Or will he meet a grim fate, trampled by a Strider?
Follow Noir, our snarky and not-so-lucky protagonist, as he embarks on a wild and unpredictable journey. Along the way, you’ll meet the characters you love (and maybe hate), and witness how his presence changes the world as we know it.
What to Expect:
Slow-Burn Beginnings: The first chapters will focus on setting up Noir’s character and the challenges of his new reality.
Romance (Eventually): Expect romance much later in the story—when the time is right.
No Smut
No Harem
Action-Packed Adventure: Get ready for violence, explosions, and plenty of destruction.
Familiar Faces: Noir will meet Aloy and Rost early on, but not immediately. Their interactions will be pivotal.
A Complex Protagonist: Noir is a natural leader who won’t shy away from doing what needs to be done to save this dying world. He’s not a hero, nor a villain, a neutral karma protagonist walking a morally gray path.
This is my first fanfic, so please bear with me! I’d love to hear your thoughts on what works, what doesn’t, and how I can improve. If you spot any grammar issues, feel free to call them out.

what a Shameless "author" giving 5 stars to the very first thing he wrote. this guy is realy Shameless.
The only thing that up until now I can complain about is perhaps the names of some things being wrong like for example sylens is named sylas in chapter 3. But overall these thing are easy to overlook. Good job so far Author. Only recommandation I would give is to double check the specific names of places and characters.
This is a lot easier to read with the parentheses now in the story cant wait to continue reading.
1 star for writing quality because its an AI story. MTL are better than AI. at least they have personality in their writing unlike AI which is plain dull and same thing over and over again
OC are interesting, the bigger world is amazing. you could use some edit on some chapters, but overall very good fic. add and enjoy the trip.
A very good story, it was about time we got a good Horizon fic, the Characters are well made and world is beautiful. Some names are wrong and you could use some help in the grammar, but i love it. thank you.
love this and about time someone made a horizon story. and if any writers can do a horizon story but with the system from "being the farm to live in another world" but maybe nerfed a little would also me cook.
a solid start and a common sense MC, that alone adds up to a lot of points. I'm still hoping it's not a harem, that said I hope to see the rise of the Nora King.
The author doesn’t understand the timeline much, Aloy went from 10 years younger than the MC to 6 years younger. The writing progressivly gets worse and tanks at like ch 30. The characters read fake and robotic constantly repeating the same things
I've honestly been look for a story set around horizon zero dawn and this is the best one I've found so far, thanks for your hard work Author.
didn't enjoy the MC at all. First hzd fic I've read and was hoping for something more serious. not a bad story just not what I like . MC doesn't feel grounded in the world as if he is in sao but in hzd instead. all so found all his joking extremely boring and annoying just jokes no character expect to conquer the world or another bad joke.
