Write a reviewIt's good, but honestly what's the point of adding on Kryptonian powers into Homelander? Isn't it a bit redundant and also unnecessary since he is already quite powerful compared to other supes? but otherwise, it's a good novel. just don't like the premise and the choice of changes made to the powerset
I read the novel some time ago and really enjoyed it. The translation is excellent. Need more.[img=update][img=update][img=update][img=update][img=update][img=update]
Best the boys fan fic I've read love how Roger is dealing with Vought although him getting superman's powers kinda threw me off but it's good regardless since he didn't instantly become overpowered even though he is already strong I wonder if he will get other powers like superman's ice breath or whatever you call it
It’s score is mu honest review. This story indeed has a potential. But it’s hard to tell, will we get it or no…
To be honest, it's been a hot minute since I've given a review. but lemme just go ahead and start it all off. For the writing quality, there's something about how the way it reads hat makes me feel as though it's slightly off. It feels similar to the way that Chinese novels have a specific syntax as well. Semantically it's a passable story, which ties into the next aspect I wanna go over. The way that the story develops is very par for the course, and the whole schtick of him wanting to pull a Starman meme while trying to acknowledge the fact that he doesn't really hold heavy connections with any other people just feels like another cut and dry experience, with emphasis on the dry. Speaking of dry, the character in of itself, is just pretty eh..... in the sense that he acts a bit too, how do I go about saying this? Bland. The times that he's been expressing himself with "fervor" kind of just feels like petulance. Anytime he seems to try to reach out, it feels like he only ever gets to the point of "kind of a homie, but more closer to acquaintance". And even when he seems like he's trying to hang with his friends, it has the same energy as the kind of guy that sits at the corner of the room with a drink in hand completely silent. The update sched is decent. That's one of the few upsides that I can get out of this. Finally the world. The televised version of The Boys is far more nuanced and complex than the original comic version. There could have been some more in-depth exploration of the world aside from what was shown on whatever streaming platform people make use of to see it. Overall, it's a very meh experience of a story. Could use a lot more depth, and a bit more understanding how vernacular could tie into it making the narrative seems less droll.
Reveal SpoilerReview upto chapter 50... Mc is a bit naive fanbo of superheroes shows but somewhat likeable. The only problem with this story is lack of romance. Maeve, Kimiko, Starlight he didn't want any of them. Overall It's a good read if yoh want to pass your time.
The translation is great. The story though feels like a marvel story from a certain point rather than the boys, in fact the boys is like an optional stepping board into this multiverse story. The multiverse story part is going on a weird contrived plot of an insane time and space multiversal conspiracy. Not my cup of tea and I don't hold much hope for the future of it but the writing quality and attention to detail is enough to keep me going. I'd reccoment you try it yourself.
Lo que le depara el futuro a Roger, Es un viaje de poder, en dónde nadie la hace nada a homelander, y ahora es 100 veces más poderoso. ...................
A very good fanfic, especially for MC being in the body of Homelander. Mc being afraid of becoming like Homelander is truly good and how after know that he has the power to travel the world he did not form a team (until he faced real powerless) or try to take control of the world and rule it. I am not good at reviews, so In short MC is good not superman level good but still a good person with morals and he doesn't like to abuse his power atleast that what I think. anyway, thank for a good story author. Please don't drop it or make MC change drasticall.
Молодец автор! Ты не боишься экспериментов, и не бросаешь в сюжет никому ненужных женских и мужских оригинальных персонажей..........................

Read up to chapter 6 and felt the story was way too vanilla, what of Homeland was good , no deviation, no plot, just what if. Not bad but a little bland. Child friendly version of an adult series.
