Chapter 102: 100. The Heiress Arrives, An Elf's Quest, A Helping Hand and Facing the Tyrant.

Disclaimer: The story takes place in an Alternate Earth with a slightly different timeline of events. So people may be born early, some may be born a few years later or maybe not at all.

This gives me more freedom to write characters as I want, also the characters in my story are obviously not an accurate portrayal of their characters.

Please remember that this story is a wish fulfillment story set in Urban Hollywood with some Fantasy elements because of the system's shenanigans so please don't take it too seriously.

~ Chifuyu Oga's POV ~

.

Date: Monday, 15th October, 1990.

.

Time: 04:57 pm.

..

.

Two weeks, it had been a frantic two weeks, the very Mark had left. She had been hard at work to get Shueisha up to the new standards Mark had set for them. Thankfully the capital he had invested in them made this much easier to implement as she didn't have to cut corners anywhere to save money.

The moment she introduced these changes, they had been swarmed by the applications of mangaka's to join them. She couldn't fault them after all they had already been number two in payouts amongst all manga publishers in Japan.

But now they had pulled so far ahead that there wasn't even a competition, with Mark's new terms. They had officially become the best Manga publishers to work for based on incentive and pay.

It didn't stop there, as it wasn't just the incentive and pay that attracted these new applications. But rather it was the new promised working conditions and rules, guaranteed overtime pay limited over time and proper healthcare benefits were provided.

These incentives were almost never seen before from Japanese Manga publishers. Before leaving Mark had warned them about such a scenario and requested them to be very selective of whom they choose from the new applications and to emphasize on quality rather than quantity.

She had done just that, with George Morikawa the mangaka of Hajime no Ippo switching over to Shueisha in search of greener pastures. They also signed up many new promising mangaka's like – Yoshihiro Togashi who was working on a new manga of his called Yū Yū Hakusho.

Even their older mangaka's were coming out with new series in a bid to not be outdone by this young blood. Inoue Takehiko-san had just finished the first three issues of a sports manga that she thought would be perfect for American readers.

It was a basketball manga called Slam Dunk. After talking with Mark about the tastes of the readers in America, she understood that sports manga could be the gateway to introduce manga to a new reader base who haven't read it before.

Mark told her that she would need to choose themes and stories that they can identify with like - sports - basketball, baseball and boxing were three of the most popular sports that Americans and Japanese had in common.

So, she ran a writing contest with sports as the theme, specially the three he had mentioned and she had scored well. Now they have – Slam Dunk (basketball), Hajime no Ippo (boxing), and Baki The Grappler (martial arts).

Even Takahashi-san the mangaka of their most popular sports series - Captain Tsubasa had announced that he has begun writing and researching for the next installment of the series, which had the fans in a frenzy.

Before leaving for America, she decided to leave this sports wave going for a few months, so that they could pick up any more gems that are found before she would change the theme again.

Her talks with Mark had already told her what the next theme should be for Shueisha - Fantasy or Supernatural. He described manga and comics as an escape from reality for young adults and children who are burdened by the expectations of their parents.

The flight she was on had almost reached as they were now preparing to land at LAX airport. Mark had been notified of her arrival and he had come to pick her up.

It was a nice gesture and he wanted to show her the city and her place before he had to drop her off at Viz Media.

It was a little chilly so she was wearing a gray overcoat over her dress. As she and Sakura got their luggage, she saw him, yet couldn't believe that he would dress so simply.

Mark was wearing a navy blue T-shirt with white chinos, he still had his mask on. Thankfully he was holding up a sign with her name on, so he was easy to find in the crowded airport.

"It's good to see you again Chifuyu-san, welcome to America. This must be Sakura-san, your assistant right?" He said as he effortlessly took both of their bags in hand and made his way towards the car.

"Yes." She replied thinking about how she should approach the idea of dating.

"I hope the flight was too uncomfortable. How are you feeling?" He asked as cleared the way for them.

"The cabin pressure had my ear in pain so I didn't get much sleep." She replied rubbing her temples, as she glanced around she saw bodyguard's around.

"Hmm, it happens sometimes. Use earplugs next time, that should help." He replied in a warm tone that made her feel relaxed.

"Thanks." She replied with a renewed cheer in her voice.

"Welcome." He replied with a nod and then turned towards Sakura as he asked, "Sakura-san, what's Chifuyu-san's schedule for the rest of the day?"

"Ano.." Sakura looked to her in confusion.

"Tell him.. it's fine. We are gonna be dating anyway." She replied with a sigh when Sakura gave her a questioning look about what to do.

"Ms. Chifuyu has a meeting with Viz Media for tonight and then she will be going around the comic book stores to see the crowd and how comic books are sold here."

"Hmm, that's a smart approach, I approve. But please cancel that." He turned towards her and gently requested.

She couldn't help but want to agree, but resisted, "but I have wor–"

"Work will still be there waiting for you tomorrow, Chifuyu."

"You're exhausted and I don't think you even had anything good to eat on that plane." She nodded in agreement as that was true.

"Let's just spend the day, we can even make it a date. We can talk, watch a movie and I will even cook you dinner"

"Date?!" she exclaimed, she would have said more but she quieted down as it was a public space.

"Yeah, you look like you need a rest and a nourishing home cooked meal."

"I will be right next door if you need me, miss." Sakura replied with a funny smirk, she was taking great joy in this.

"Okay. You can explain more about the comic book scene in America to me later.

"Maybe, but I think we should avoid business talk. So, do you like ramen and gyozas, Chifuyu?" He asked as a car pulled up in front of them and one of his bodyguard's took the bags from him while the other opened the door.

"Thanks," he said to them.

"Yeah, I like Ramen quite a lot but I don't have it that often because of how high in sodium it can be." She replied, taking his hand as she got into the car.

"Careful," he said, covering her head as she climbed in.

"Thanks." She nodded and got in as Sakura sat in the front seat.

"Don't worry about the sodium, Ichiraku's has been hard at work developing a premium instant ramen kit. It's low in sodium and very refreshing and tasty."

"Okay, you have my interest, let's go."

"By the way, I saw your movie.

"You did?" She nodded, "well, how was it?"

"It was so good that I have a hard time believing you made it." She muttered with a blush.

Mark guffawed, "thanks for the high praise. So, how is Shueisha handling the transition?"

"It's been pretty good, actually. The new incentives we offer have made many mangakas apply for a position."

"Right, I am confident in the international reception of 4 of our works that will be published in the near future."

"That's great news, what are their names?" Mark asked, hoping to hear any familiar names.

"Well, we got Slam Dunk by Takehiko Inoue-san, it is a coming of age, comedy, sports manga."

"Slam Dunk? Sounds like a basketball manga. Great name choice by the way, it's easily understood and recognisable." He pretended to not know the manga, but was internally ecstatic as it was one of the best sports manga of all time.

"Yes. I'm pretty sure with your support it will do well in America as well."

"The next one, I think you will definitely recognise. It's Hajime no Ippo." She said with a smile want to see him surprised.

And she wasn't disappointed as she saw him imitate a goldfish for a moment before he went back to normal. "But how wasn't it being published by kodansha?"

Well, I have the great incentives and workforce rules you made us pass to thank for. Mr. Moriyama himself contacted us and said that he wanted to transfer from kodansha.

"We just helped him along in that process."

"You headhunted him. I'm liking you more and more now." He said with a smirk.

She blushed and coughed, "Third is the next installment of Captain Tsubasa." This got Mark's eye's to widen, which piqued her interest.

"you know about it?"

"Know about it? It's one of my favorites. Can't wait to read the next installment." He replied with an excited smile as he pumped his fist.

"The last is one I'm not that sure of but it looks promising. It's called Baki The Grappler." Mark put on his poker face, not wanting to slip.

"It's a hyper violent martial arts manga. So much that I think it might not be suitable for America as we can sell it to kids."

"That's good, keep that way."

"Huh?" She was confused.

"Chifuyu, do you know why comic books are nowhere near as popular in America as Manga is in japan?" He asked her as he glanced wistfully out of the window.

She gave him a puzzled look and shook her head because she felt like the answer he was looking for wasn't clear cut.

"Its because of our perception and culture. You see people in America, look at comic books and they ignorantly equate it to picture books that are meant to be read by children."

He gave a rudimentary breakdown of the CAA's seal and his countermeasure against it.

"This is why I asked for 4 years from your father, because what I need to do is change the perception of the people to look at comics as medium for great stories and enjoyment."

"People who read comics are made fun of, called nerds or childish. I want to raise the level of respect for comic books so people treat it just like a fictional novel written by a professional author."

"Right now less than 10% of American adults have ever read a comic book. I'm gonna take that number upto 50 in less than a decade." The firm determination, the confidence in his voice made her heart skip a beat.

She nodded and said, "I believe you will."

~ Back in Japan ~

Three old friends were hiking on a gentle mountain trail, they didn't really get chances like these too often to get together but still made it a thing to at least do one of these once every month or two.

At a short distance they were being trailed by a team of guards for their security.

"So, your daughter finally left?" the one on left asked, stop to take a small sip from his bottle of water.

"Yeah, she left early this morning." the middle-aged gentleman in the middle replied, with a sad smile on his face.

"Must be tough."

"I'll live. What about you already working on your next Godzilla movie? That all you guys know how to make anyways." He replied with an insult that didn't really have any heat behind it.

"Like you can do any better Mr. I want to be a mangaka." He insulted him back with a laugh and the person in question started laughing as well.

"Really both of you should grow up." said the third man finally with a sigh.

"And you should learn to have some fun, Hayao, you're not getting any younger." He said identifying one of the people as Hayao Miyazaki, co-owner of Studio Ghibli.

"As for your question Hiroshi, we've decided to put Godzilla on hold." he said, turning to the first person, who turned out to be Hiroshi Oga, the head of Hitotsubashi Group.

"You can't be Tatsu. What have you done to my friend? Who are you?" asked Hiroshi with a teasing smile.

"Very funny." Tatsu replied as he gave a fake laugh.

"Why the stop though, I thought you were planning on making a Godzilla movie this year." This time it was Hayao-san who asked, because they both knew how money grubbing their friend was.

He definitely wouldn't stop working on his new Godzilla movie unless there was a big reason for it.

"Ah," he sighed, "okay, okay. I'll tell you but you must promise not to tell anyone about this. Not even family." The two nodded in agreement and said, "yes."

It was Mark's suggestion. Before he left Japan, he came to meet me. He said that he was working on something that would make a huge improvement in the field of VFX.

"Did he say how long it will take?"

"He said that it will be ready in 2 to 3 years."

"And you know how long the ROI cycle on each of our Godzilla movies are." He muttered a bit disappointed.

"Yup, at least 2 to 3 years."

"Also this next movie is a project we have been planning for the last 5 years. It's going to be big, so I want it to be a big success."

"Mark promised that if I waited till his breakthrough, he would help in the production of the movie."

"By help what did he mean exactly?" Hayao asked, his heart was beating faster because of the reveal.

"He will invest over 2 billion yen on just production." The two exclaimed out loud in shock, as they heard his reply.

Hiroshi had hundreds of billions but even he wouldn't causally put it in 2 billion on movie production budget.

"Masaka! You're joking right?" Hayao asked, flabbergasted.

"Nope. He said to draw up the contract and send it over if I had any doubts." Tatsu replied casually.

"So did you send the contract?" Hiroshi asked,

"I told him that his words were worth more to me. You should have seen how red his cheeks got, I'm telling you that man really can't take a sincere compliment."

"But he insisted, so I ended up sending it over. I should be getting it back in a few days."

"You want to get him off his game, just give him a sincere compliment."

"Well, I hope his enemies don't find out that Mark gets shy and uncomfortable because he can't handle compliments." Hiroshi laughed as he leaned on a tree.

.

A woman groaned as she woke up, she turned on her side and felt around on the other side of the bed with her left hand only to find nothing.

"Huh, where did he go so early?" She muttered as she couldn't find her husband.

"Honey!" She called out.

"Coming." She heard her hubby answer back, thankfully he was in the house.

"Is everything okay? you weren't in the bed." She asked, when she saw him enter the room.

He was holding a letter and looked to be deep in thought, he came up to her and gently sat down beside her. He didn't answer but helped her sit up on the bed and handed her the letter with a sigh.

"Who is it from? Why do you look worried?" She asked, a little nervous.

"Read it, Wen." He spoke softly as untangled her red locks.

She opened the letter to see it was from Marc Spector, a person whom she had only heard of till now. The new owner Marvel he was, Marvel comics – a company with which she had a bittersweet relationship till now.

Her hubby wrapped his arms around her and drew her in for a hug as he laid down beside her.

---

Dear Wendy,

I hope this letter finds you well. My name is Marc Spector, and I am writing to you as a fellow admirer of your incredible work on ElfQuest. As both a writer and director, I have long been captivated by the depth and richness of your storytelling and the stunning artwork that brings your world to life.

I recently had the pleasure of acquiring Marvel Comics, and I couldn't help but think of you and your remarkable journey with the company. While Marvel may not have recognized the brilliance of ElfQuest, I want you to know that your creations have left an indelible mark on countless fans, myself included.

I am reaching out to invite you and your husband to a celebration I am hosting at my HQ in Los Angeles on October 30th. The celebration is for the successful run of my debut feature film, Knives Out, at the box office.

It would mean a great deal to me if you could join us for this special event. But more than just a celebration, I see this as an opportunity for us to discuss potential collaborations in the future. Your storytelling prowess and my passion for bringing stories to life on the big screen could make for an exciting partnership.

As a token of my appreciation for your work and as a small gesture of goodwill, I am enclosing a copy of the first issue of ElfQuest and would be honored if you could sign it and bring it along to the party.

To make the journey easier for you both, I have also included two first-class tickets for a flight from New York to Los Angeles. I hope this will encourage you to join us for what promises to be a memorable evening.

Thank you for considering my invitation, Wendy. I look forward to the possibility of meeting you in person and discussing the potential for future collaborations.

Warm regards,

Marc Spector

---

"So, what do you think?" He asked, as she put aside the letter on the bedside table.

"I don't know. Is this real?"

"It is. I heard rumors about Shooter being called back in at Marvel. So I called him up to ask about this." He said, explaining where he had been.

"What did he say?"

"Not much, he confirmed its validity. He said that he is also invited to the event. Marc had mentioned about it being concerned with his re-hiring at Marvel."

"He will never go."

"Nope, I don't know what Mark promised him in the letter but he said that he was definitely going."

"He moved that stubborn mule. Wow, got to give it to the kid."

"You got any friends whom we could speak to about Mark without them telling on us?" She asked as she thought about the best course of action.

Well… I do have one but aren't going to like this.

She drew in a long breath and exhaled slowly, calming herself, "who is it?"

"George Martin." He replied with a sigh, already knowing the kind of reaction that name would have on his beloved, not that he would fault her for feeling that way.

"That FU***** pervert!" Despite her best efforts to keep herself calm, she still couldn't help but exclaim as she heard his name.

"I am sorry." He apologized as he drew her in for a hug.

"No, I shouldn't have shouted, it's just.. it's hard to get over how much of a creep he was back then."

"I am not defending his actions, Wen, but that was a long time back and he was stupidly drunk at the time. That plus you looking like a goddess in the metal bikini just might as well have made him turn off all sense of reasoning so he kept hitting on you all night long."

"It still doesn't make it okay, Richard."

"It doesn't, I agree. If you mind talking to him that much then I will look for other options."

"I do, but I want to make sure the kid is not pulling my leg. The letter was well written and sincere, it almost felt like a fan letter.

"Because Marc Spector really is a fan of yours." She sent him a questioning look so he spoke up.

"I forgot to bring it along when I came up but there was a first issue of ElfQuest that came along with this letter.

"It looked old and well read, I'm not sure if it really belonged to him but I do feel that it is a sincerely written letter from a fan who just happened to do so well in life that he bought up Marvel.

The very company that has shunned your work for more than a decade. Maybe it is an attempt to make amends on behalf of marvel, but not sure about that as well." He explained his thoughts as he sighed, while she caressed his head.

"So we'll be flying in blind." She sighed.

"We could, what's the worst that could happen. He laughs at our face and we leave, no big deal. Nothing some other dirtbag hasn't done already." He gave a hollow laugh as he remembered the darker times.

"No, I won't tolerate you being treated like that again for my sake." She said, as gripped his arm tightly, her eyes wet with unshed tears.

"Okay but th-"

"I will call George. Either he will behave or will cut off his family jewels." She spoke in a harsh tone.

"Do you have his number? Also how does that creep get to know Marc?"

"Well, he was hired by him, he now works as writer for Marc, he is part of the IWA. It's a group of writers that help Marc write his books, they're given top dollar and also great incentives."

"You're quite informed."

"Well I did some research."

"Anyways, give me the number so I can call that pervert."

"You're never gonna let it go are you?"

"What do you think?"

He chuckled and passed her a piece of paper that had George's number written down.

*Ring* X3

"Hello, who is this?"

"George? It's Wendy."

"Wendy! Pini! To think I would hear from you again."

"Yeah.. it's me."

"Listen, I know, I can't take back what I said and how I treated you. But I truly am sorry.."

"It's.. fine." She replied with a sigh.

"So, tell me, why the call. Just from hearing you I can tell you still hate my guts, not that I can fault you for it." He replied with a chuckle.

"I wanted to ask you about Marc Spector."

"What do you wanna know?"

"I just received a letter from him inviting me and my husband to a celebration party."

"Oh, that, yeah, I'm invited as well. Don't worry, the place is huge and I promise to keep my distance."

"You're not helping your case." She replied with a sigh and then smiled, feeling the resentment in heart melt.

"Well, if you got the invite, my suggestion would be to go. The guy is very generous and thoughtful, a really great boss."

"Okay.. feels weird, hearing a genuine compliment from you that's not aimed at a woman. Also, how the heck did you get hired by him?"

"How would I know? I just applied, did an interview with Marc and the rest is history."

"I have even selected the story I want to work on. It wasn't my first choice but after having started working on it, it has definitely fully grabbed my attention."

"Oh really what is it about?"

"The story's plot, at its most basic, is about the realm's power struggle: who has it, who wants it and how they plan to get it. Interwoven are themes of honor, justice, revenge and redemption layered between issues of ethics, morality and familial bonds."

"It's a medieval epic fantasy with dragons, zombies and more."

"Sounds interesting, does it have a working title yet?" She was intrigued by the theme.

"No, Marc already has decided on the official title for it."

"Oh, do tell."

"The entire book series as whole is called - A Song Of Ice And Fire."

"The first book that I'm currently working on is called - The Game Of Thrones."

"Sounds great, well I can't say it was nice talking to ya, but I gotta go. Bye, George, I hope I don't run across ya at the party."

"I understand." He muttered in a sad tone and the call was cut.

"So, what's the plan?" He laid still on the bed watching the ceiling.

"I want to go but only if you agree as well."

She turned back and answered.

"I won't let my obsession of seeing ElfQuest on the big screen ruin my marriage. If I am going then it will only be because you're coming along with me and you want to."

"Well, let's go then and find out what Marc has in store for us." He replied as he got up and drew her in for a hug.

~ Time Skip ~

(2 weeks later)

Life had been moving at a fast pace for Mark, he had gotten some good news from Nicholas that Nvidia had been officially established and recruitment letters had been sent out as well.

The new drug trial had been going pretty smoothly as well, though getting a medical license for drug testing had been a hassle. But it wasn't something that could be skipped, but he was fine with it, because once Viagra was created the game would change.

He also completed writing Horizon: Zero Dawn, it had taken a week longer than he had anticipated but it was all worth it. The book had been really well received by almost all amongst his group, except for the few that complained about logical inconsistency.

The rest actually found the story to be quite interesting and asked if there would be a follow-up. He had told them that he did plan on creating an entire series out of this story but it would take a bit longer as he had other works he needed to get to as well.

He had also begun working on Pokemon, for this he had hinata's help, she had been very reluctant at first but when he showed the drawings of the cute Pokemons and paid her the bribe of Cinnabons from her favorite place, she had caved in.

Hopefully by next month Pokemon will be ready for publishing. Doom was already reaching the end of its limited release, he had decided to release it only for a limited time of the year because it didn't really have a big story to be told like Naruto.

So to stretch it out he will only release DOOM for 2 months and then stop publishing. As for Naruto it was becoming a fan favorite, he had decided to go in a different direction than Kishimoto with the story.

The main differences were that this time around Naruto would be competent and stronger with a slower ever growing arsenal of jutsus under his belt. And he didn't plan on making Naruto rely too much on kurama, the fox will get his moments to shine.

But using him as a get out jail for free card had gotten old fast, the next release was the one where Kakashi would be introduced and the team 7 would be formed. He had been slowly dropping hints how Naruto was only putting an act but till he didn't have him ever break from his cheerful, sunny self.

"Mark, what's on your mind." George asked, seeing how Mark had just kept looking at the table.

"I am sorry George, my mind had just been a jumbled mess of thoughts. What were you saying?" He asked, apologizing for not paying attention to him.

"It's okay, I was just saying I read your new book, Horizon."

"You did?" He asked, surprised.

"Yeah, My daughter Amanda really loved it, I read it with her every night."

"That's sweet, I'm glad she liked it."

"Hey, would you mind if I ask you something?"

"Yeah, sure what is it?"

"It has been 7 years, when are we fans getting a new Star Wars movie?" He had a hopeful look on his face.

"Why haven't we already gotten one?"

George sighed and looked around for a moment, he then leaned forward as he replied in a lowered tone, "the script for the next Star Wars is already done."

Mark didn't say anything, just nodded and patiently waited for him to explain further.

"There are two reasons why I haven't made the next Star Wars yet.

"1. I can't find a director to direct the next movie for me, someone who I think would be suitable."

"Steven, here has already turned me down, as he has already decided on the next 3 films he'll be making and Star Wars didn't make the cut."

"I'm sor–" Steven spoke up, trying to apologize for he truly felt bad for not helping out his friend but he was too busy and also felt like Star Wars wasn't for him.

"Leave it, Steven, I understand."

"and 2. I don't feel that special effects technology is good enough yet for me to achieve the kinds of worlds and visuals I want to build."

"I see." He replied, then fell silent for a moment as he thought about his idea.

"George, what if I say I can help with both of your problems." He said, in a measured tone.

"How?" He was intrigued, because he knew Mark wasn't one to boast with no show.

"We are currently working on something that will significantly upgrade the hardware of the computer that is being used for VFX now, if we combine the software of your ILM and the hardware from my company.

I think we'll be able to create VFX that will meet your standards.

"How will that take?" He asked back, looking skeptical.

"It should be ready by 1992 or 93." Mark replied confidently.

"Now, let's get to your first problem, finding a suitable director. For that I would like to throw my hat in the ring." George looked hesitant at that.

"I know, I sound arrogant when I say this as I have only directed one movie till now and despite it being a hit it's still just one."

"Once or twice can be chalked up to coincidence right?" Mark asked them

George and Steven nodded in agreement.

"So, how about this, we wait till 1992. I will be personally directing 1 movie every year so we'll go 3 for 3." He said laying out his bet.

"If even one of my directed movies is not up to your standard then I won't ask you to let me direct the next Star Wars and I would even let you use my hardware for free."

"But if all my movies are to your liking then I want a crack at Star Wars."

"I will take that offer. If the next two of your movies are just as good as Knives Out. I will let you direct Star Wars Episode 1."

"Great, Steven, you're our witness." Mark said, with a confident grin, looking at Steven.

"How about this you can visit me anytime on the set of my next movie to see me at work."

"I might just take you up on that offer."

After a brief moment of silence, Mark looked at George and asked again, "Hey, George, if you don't mind. Can you tell me the plot of your next movie? I swear I won't tell anyone."

"Hmm, okay, so it goes like this.." George said as he began explaining the plot of Star Wars 1.

As he kept revealing the plot, Mark's brows furrowed in confusion because the plot George was telling him was not just different from the original but also even worse.

He decided to help him out once again as he wanted a better star wars to eventually join the list of fictional franchises under the banner of Eidolon.

After George finished speaking, Mark spoke carefully not wanting to offend the man. "George, how many people have worked on this?"

"Not many, just me and a couple of writers who are still on my team. We had to let go quite a few because the movies were on hold and we didn't have a need for them."

"I see that explains it all." He muttered carefully going over his words.

"Explain what?" He asked.

"George I mean no disrespect, but the script is horrible and would probably need a lot of rewrites to get it to the level of your previous trilogy."

"I know, but I don't have a team of writers like you." He replied dismissing him.

"Well, how about this the night is only getting started, I will find you a secluded corner. Call my writers for an impromptu writer's room to work on your script."

Please don't say no George, they all are already here, I just need to ask Rose to get them together.

George nodded and said, "okay, but I don't see how just a few hours will change much."

Mark called Rose over who was waiting just a few paces behind him, ready to help.

"Oh, you're underestimating my writers. How about this, when they come to don't need to write down their names or try to remember it."

"Only write them down when you feel like they have contributed to the script and I promise you by the time the night is over you'll have almost everyone's name written down."

"You really have that much faith in them. Now, I really want to see them for myself, call me."

"Well, you heard the man, call them in. Also tell them that if they make a good contribution to the script then they can look forward to a nice bonus."

"The criteria is that they must have watched all three previous Star Wars movies." Rose nodded and went off.

"You'll see very soon George, why I call them immortals." Mark spoke with fully believing that his writers would impress George.

"We'll see."

"Mr. Spector." He heard Monica call out to him.

"Yes?" He said turning towards her, she looked stunning in her blue gown.

"Mr. Eisner from Disney is here, he has just entered the hall." She had been tasked with letting Mark know when any people of interest on her list would arrive at the event.

"Oh." Mark's face lost its smile as his face became devoid of all emotions.

He gave a fake cheerful laugh and got up, "Sorry George, but it looks like I need to fulfill my responsibility as the host."

"See you around." He said as he buttoned his slim fit suit jacket and made his way to face Eisner the Tyrant of Disney.

{Closing Author's Note: Apologizes for being a few hours late with the update of this part of the chapter but as I was writing this I didn't want to split up the chapter into even smaller chunks. I mean there would have been a part 3. But I kept writing and ended it in part 2 itself. It's why this chapter got a bit longer than part 1.

I hope you enjoyed the chapter and stay tuned as the next chapter. 101.1 will be released in around 12 hours from the posting of this chapter. Thanks for reading and supporting my work, I hope you all have a wonderful day.}
