**Chapter 17: The Silent Reason is Image Issues**

Since Harry moved to the small bedroom on the second floor, a month had passed in the blink of an eye. Harry felt that this was his busiest holiday.

Yes, even though in previous holidays, he had to spend a lot of effort and time playing the "Chase Harry" game with Dudley and his friends.

But compared to this holiday, those physical and time-consuming activities seemed insignificant.

However, unlike Harry's thoughts, Moon felt that this month was too long and agonizing.

It all started when he found some information about Merlin in "Modern Magical History," which introduced this "Wizard's Jehovah" as an Animagus.

Moreover, an Animagus capable of transforming into various animals.

In other words, an Animagus, commonly known as an animal wizard.

Undoubtedly, this spell immediately caught his attention.

He wasn't incapable of transforming into animals, but either it was just the deceptive "Disguise Charm" or transforming into an animal through a formation on his own body.

The book recorded Merlin turning into bacteria when Madam Mim transformed into a dragon, infiltrating her body and attacking, ultimately achieving victory.

In other words, the upper limit of this spell seemed overly powerful.

Especially in Moon's current situation, with his head turned into a cat, even his strength had decreased significantly, which bothered him. And this spell to change the body allowed him to see some breakthrough opportunities.

Although the book stated that each Animagus could only transform into one type of animal, Merlin was an exception... in the magical world, there was nothing absolute.

After all, the essence of magic is to create the impossible.

Of course, the premise is not to play yourself to death.

So, after he found the relevant operation methods, deduced it based on potion theory, he began to try directly.

The first step was to hold a Mandrake leaf in his mouth during a full moon day, continuing until the next full moon.

During this period, under no circumstances should the leaf be swallowed or spit out. If the leaf leaves the mouth, the entire process must start over.

So, for this month, he basically didn't talk much.

But tonight, he could finally be liberated.

Today is the full moon!!

At this moment, the night was deep, but it was already eight o'clock in the evening, and the sky was full of stars.

Harry, under the moonlight, continued to practice magic control. He no longer used a dummy as a target to unleash his magic. With the assistance of potions, he had already mastered the technique of bursting magic.

Now what he was doing was trying to ignite the paper scraps in the brazier in front of him.

With a target, a specific casting direction, and without emotional influence, relying solely on the desire to cast the spell.

It was much more difficult than just thinking about knocking down a dummy.

"Burn!!" Harry raised his hand and pointed fiercely, staring at the brazier.

Although this language sounded a bit awkward when spoken, it could indeed play a subjective guiding role to some extent.

In the brazier, a spark lit up on the paper scraps. Harry was delighted, but unfortunately, in just a blink, the spark went out.

"Hey—ignite for me!!" Harry roared again. He had been doing this training for some time, and this was the first time he saw a spark.

He could feel that he was just a step away from success.

Veins bulged on his forehead, muscles tightened throughout his body, and he stared intently at the paper scraps.

With a whoosh, flames suddenly erupted from the paper scraps, as if flames had inexplicably burst in a pot with high temperature.

"Success!" Harry couldn't believe his eyes as he looked at the flames in the brazier. Although faint and swaying in the mountain wind, it was indeed a success.

Click—

The door opened slowly, and Harry turned to look, seeing Uncle Moon walking out. He quickly said, "Uncle Moon, I succeeded."

Moon glanced at the flames, approvingly saying, "Not bad."

Huh?

Harry also paused. When was the last time he heard Uncle Moon speak?

A very long time ago.

He remembered that on the third day after moving to the second floor, Uncle Moon suddenly stopped talking.

When he asked why, Uncle Moon just spread open a book, showing him the first step of practicing the Animagus magic with Mandrake leaves in his mouth.

It turned out that he couldn't speak because he had to put Mandrake leaves in his mouth.

Since then, Harry had never heard Uncle Moon's voice again.

Actually, Harry secretly tried putting leaves in his mouth to see if he could speak, and the answer was—yes.

But with a big tongue.

So Harry speculated that Uncle Moon felt having a big tongue damaged his handsome image, so he simply stopped talking.

Smart kid. If Uncle Moon found out, he would probably scold him.

"Uncle Moon, you can talk?!" Harry was ecstatic.

Moon nodded, looking at the moon in the sky. The summer evening breeze was refreshing. The bright full moon hung in the sky, generously spreading its radiance to the world.

Moon took the Mandrake leaf out of his mouth, put it in a small transparent glass bottle, then added a teaspoon of dew and a pupa of a Ghost-Faced Moth that he had collected.

Finally, it was a strand of his own beard—no, it was a beard since he didn't have hair now.

Originally, he wanted to use hair, but the hair on his face was thick, so he chose the concept of a beard, which was equivalent to hair on a human body.

After doing all this, Moon recalled the subsequent details in his mind, hiding the potion in a dark and secret place. But at the same time, it couldn't be in the residence. And it had to ensure that it was not exposed to any prying eyes or sunlight.

Moon had already made plans for all of this. He flipped his hand, dug a hole in the base of the redwood tree next to the castle, and with a cracking sound of the wooden part breaking, a large hole was exposed.

Here, in the wild, the potion could absorb natural energy autonomously. Still, with the redwood tree and the hole, sunlight couldn't shine in.

After placing the small bottle, he sealed the hole again. Then he took out his wand, started arranging defensive formations to prevent accidents.

He didn't want to go through the torment of putting a leaf in his mouth for a whole month again.

Moon did all this without avoiding Harry. At this moment, Harry walked over, his eyes shining. "Uncle Moon, is this Animagus? Why does it feel like making a potion, even though it's clearly a type of magic?"

Moon nodded, saying, "Animagus is obviously an advanced magic that integrates potions and Transfiguration.

Don't be surprised. Magic has diverse forms of expression. Remember what I said a month ago in Diagon Alley?"

Harry recalled for a moment, then said straightforwardly, "You said they are all rubbish."

Moon opened his mouth, shook his head, "No, not that, about magic."

Harry thought for a moment, and then the memory suddenly surged up. His eyes brightened, and he said loudly, "You said they are still expressing magic with 'waves.'

In the end, Harry added, "All rubbish!"

Moon nodded, ruffled Harry's head, "Exactly. So you must remember, the forms of expressing magic are diverse. You must not become someone who only knows how to cast waves in the future."
