Chapter 40: Forty

Alios was walking in the hallway and started smoking, as much as he remembers, the person he is imitating loves to smoke and he could do it five times a day. He really doesn't smoke but he had to endure the bad smell of the smoke that he had to copy the person he is imitating.

"The smoke might be the one to kill me today," he muttered as he wandered his eyes around. He still keeps his cool and walks in the hallway.

Two people are walking towards him with their serious faces. He immediately slid to the side so the two could walk freely and when they finally got out of the hallway, Alios looked at where they had turned. Based on their clothing, they looked like they were knights from a high family. Are they knights of a Duke? A Marquess?

Because of curiosity, he followed where they were. It is kind of suspicious why those two guards went in the direction when it is clear that the place is forbidden. Did they get some permission to enter?
