Historia instructed Typhis to follow Roxia, which he did. He followed her up to her room and noticed her writing on paper. When she handed it to a man outside the mansion, Typhis quickly put the man to sleep and took the letter. Following that, he quickly knocked on Historia's window and entered. He transformed himself into a man and delivered the letter to Historia.
Historia read the letter and immediately crumpled the paper as her eyes darkened due to what she read. It was all about her. About her updates to Vivian. She was her spy in the mansion, which is how Vivian knew where she was going and what she was doing. Added to the fact that someone attacked her last time, that was not a coincidence, but rather something she planned.
"I need to teach her a lesson; Vivian has been spying on me since the beginning," Historia murmured, holding the crumpled paper.
"I can kidnap her if you want," Typhis said, leaning against the wall and crossing his arms.
"Kidnapped her this night and brought her to an abandoned house. I have so many questions to ask her. We don't know, maybe she's not the only one, but the majority of the maids are Vivian's people," Historia said, and Typhis nodded and bowed. He immediately transformed into a fox with a mermaid tail and went outside to follow her orders.
Typhis went straight to Roxia's room and woke her up. Roxia's eyes widened when she saw him, and he quickly let her sleep. He carried her like a sack on his shoulder and quickly moved away from the mansion to an abandoned house he knew near the forest, using his spirit transportation skills.
.
The sun was rising, and people in the mansion were gossiping about where Roxia had gone. Some speculate that she fled the mansion because she was unable to repay her debt to the Crane family. After hearing the debt, she didn't believe Roxia had a large debt from her family and that she needed to pay it all off by serving them.
She was walking down a hallway after eating. She passed through the training ground, watching the knights train as hard as they could, when the man who had piqued her interest earlier appeared and looked at her before looking away.
Historia raised his eyebrows at what he did and was perplexed. It was as if he was avoiding eye contact, which made her suspicious about him. "I really have a high trust issue," she murmured to herself before turning around and walking away from the training ground.
It was finally evening, and she wanted to visit the abandoned house where Typhis brought Roxia. They went to the house right away using Typhis' transportation. It was dark, and the woods used to build the house had almost fallen, and it appeared that it was about to collapse.
She had already told Sally what to do if someone wishes for her presence. She didn't want anyone to know what she was doing and had to keep it a secret.
Historia slowly walks towards her. When she finally sense her presence, Roxia got nervous however, when she finally saw Historia's face made her smile. "My Lady! Thank goodness you found me; please help me get out of here!" she begged, attempting to wiggle her hands and feet that were tightly bound by ropes. She just raised her eyebrows at her, which made Roxia nervous.
"Who told you I should help you?" Historia asks, then sits in the wooden chair in front of Roxia. "Now, I don't want to waste my time here. Tell me what I wanted to know so you won't get tortured," she said.
Roxia's eyes widened at what she heard. She didn't believe she had been apprehended by Historia because she knew Historia was so stupid that she couldn't detect that someone was betraying her. And now she stands in front of her, smirking. Her eyes seemed to be trying to read her soul, and it appeared that it could hunt her down, with her as its prey.
She is now completely a different person made her body hair rose as she sense something from Historia's smirk. The lady she is looking now is now different to what the lady she knew! Her body was trembling at what could be the lady can do to her.
"W-what do you mean, My Lady?" she asks stuttering.
"You are one of Vivian's minions right? Now tell me what are your plans, the things you told to her about me. Everything I should know from the beginning of your plans," Historka replied seriously.
Typhis was taken aback by Historia's ability to change her personality so quickly. She used to appear childish and cheerful, but now she appears to be a murderer capable of killing without mercy. He recalls his late master, Taria, who died a few years ago due to old age. Taria appears to be an innocent and soft-spoken woman, but only her enemies are aware of her true personality when fighting.
"Y-you are mistaken, My Lady! I am not one of her minions. I am the Crane Duchy's servant. The one who will only serve the Crane Family. I don't know what you are talking about!" she replied nervously, her eyes still widened as she tried to persuade Historia. However, she is only irritated by the answer she receives.
She snaps her finger, instructing Typhis to do something so Roxia can reveal everything she knows. Typhis steps forward, raising his right hand. When Roxia saw his face, her eyes widened as she remembered who had kidnapped her the night before. Typhis lifted his hand, causing Roxia's face to lift in an attempt to catch her breath. When Typhis slowly closes his hand, Roxia's body begins to wiggle, as Typhis attempts to cause her body to explode.
"S-stop, please, I w-wanted to l-live. I w-will tell you everything I know, My Lady. Please, I a-am begging you!" Roxia cried, tears streaming down her cheeks, prompting Historia to tell Typhis to stop. She smirks at her.
Roxia was catching her breath and looking at Historia with tears in her eyes. "Now, tell me everything," she said, patiently waiting for her response.
