Listening to his voice, Chloe Collins' mouth curved into a smile.

"Remember what I told you before? The author of 'Fifty-Nine Minutes' has published another book. The signing is at eight, you coming?"

Chloe lifted her eyes, sitting up.

"Really?"

"Yeah, it's true."

"What you wanted to tell me is this?"

The man chuckled, "Yes."

A sense of relief washed over her as she asked, "Where? I'll come over in a bit."

"City Library."

"I'll be there in a while."

Layla Lowell turned her head, "You're leaving?"

"Yeah, I'm going to a signing."

"A signing? They still have signings at this hour?" Layla held her booze, looking bewildered.

Wanda Wesley, with eyes barely open, asked, "Whose signing is it? I'll come and show support too."

"Leo Coleman."

"Leo Coleman?" Layla sat up, her face lit up in astonishment, "The scriptwriter of the comic books in your drawer? He published a book?"
