Chapter 227: Julian is in danger!

Gina sat in her room staring at the photo of her father that Brigitta had just sent, Gina returned to using her cellphone after her godfather gave her a new cell phone. Because Gina has nothing, all her needs are really the responsibility of her new family and Gina feels very guilty because she has become a new burden for her godfather who only works alone.

"Looks ten years older than his age, doesn't he?"

Gina immediately turned towards the door where the godfather was standing smiling at her.

"What happened to him? Shouldn't he be happy that he is still living in luxury?" Gina asked curtly, trying to hide her deepest feelings.

Patrick chuckled. "If uncle said he was tormented by his guilt for letting you be taken by Massimo would you believe it?"

"Of course not."

"Well then uncle can't answer your previous question, dear."

Gina narrowed her eyes. "I'm serious, uncle."
