She let out a nervous laugh. "You are funny! Well I have to get inside now. Sorry again and thank you. " she said .

She doesn't want him to hear her conversation with Derick.

He just nodded. "Just remember what I told you okay? You are for keeps Stacey." he touched her face before he got out to open the door for her.

He is almost shaking with anger. Stacey is not answering his call. She has been inside the car with that asshole for minutes now and he is about to lose control. After what he felt was an eternity, he saw the dickhead got out of the car and went to the other side to open the passenger door for Stacey.
