Chapter 145: Finally the cure

"You love someone else?" Jessica murmured to herself and suddenly looked up only to grab his hand and pull him back to her. The next moment, she was hanging around him crying while Vivian creased her face to stop herself from tearing up. 

Her throat burned from hearing he loved someone else. Who was she? Who was the other girl he loved?

Truth be told, he hadn't been using her, she was clingy and had been on his neck to have sex with her. She was just desperate and naive to have a man and what did she expect him to do when she got upset? He sure asked her out and now they were in a relationship but he just might not like her. And it hurt to realize he didn't want her.

Telling herself, she wasn't going to stay with him for as long as he wanted was why she shouldn't be selfish didn't work. It didn't convince her at all. And it hurt deep down to her soul to witness the scene.
