Later that night, Rose Young arrived home at her condo unit after Jenny Tseng's driver dropped her off from the bar. The two friends were drunk but not completely wasted. They were able to hold back, as both still had work the next morning.
She was about to sleep when her phone started ringing. At first, she ignored it but it rang again. It kept on ringing.
"Who the fuck are you?!" she roared.
Despite her irritation at being disturbed so late at night, she still checked her phone. It was her father. Her irritation immediately disappeared.
"Hello, dad?" she slurred.
A few seconds of silence.
"You're drunk?" her father, Romeo Young, asked. Disapproval was clear in his voice.
"I only drank a little, dad. Don't worry. And I was with Jenny. We're both adults now."
Romeo Young only harrumphed and didn't comment about her drunk state anymore. He immediately went straight to the reason of his call.
"The worst deluded are the self-deluded."

This is the last one. Promise.
The next chapter should come in 5 minutes. If it doesn't, then Inkstone is being cuckoo again. Please wait for me to wake up to publish it manually. Thanks for reading!
