Chapter 103: Safe in my arms

Karl left the room, his face a mask of concentration as he mentally listed the ingredients and tools he would need for further spells . 

Ilomina followed closely, her voice a constant stream of questions about Eiravyne's condition and what they could expect next.

 Karl answered as best he could, but his mind was already racing ahead to the task of preparing for the sorcerer's visit.

"The main worry now is the sorcerer's visit," Karl said, his voice low and tense. "He will discover her power activation, and he will know that she is a Sangrever for sure."

Ilomina bit her lip, her worry evident. "Is there nothing we can do to hide it?"

"I'll do my best to mask her powers, but it's not guaranteed," Karl replied. "We have to hope that the preparations are enough."

Back in the room, Ilkar sat next to Eiravyne, his heart heavy with concern. 

He gently turned her body so she could sleep more comfortably.
