Chapter 53: No interest to play wife !

When Eiravyne woke the next morning, a lingering dizziness and weariness clouded her senses. 

The revelations from the previous night weighed heavily on her, leaving her feeling unsettled and drained.

 She found herself sitting on Ilkar's bed, the unfamiliar surroundings a stark reminder of the confrontation they had shared. 

She wore her nightdress still, a testament to the raw vulnerability she had experienced.

A soft knock on the door interrupted her thoughts, and Martha entered the room. 

Her face flushed with surprise and a hint of something else—perhaps relief or approval—as she saw Eiravyne sitting on the bed.

"My lady... I am so happy for you... and the Duke," Martha said with a genuine smile, her words carrying a mixture of respect and unspoken understanding.

Eiravyne, still feeling disoriented and out of place in Ilkar's room, didn't react with her usual shyness or embarrassment.
