Chapter 283: My Father's Aura

Clyde fed me the plainest jelly I had ever tasted in my life with a custard so flavorless I preferred to be in a coma. I had been asleep for five days and instead of something flavorful, I had eaten mushy soup and this was their idea of a dessert. 

"If this the type of food I have to eat I rather die."

"Bobby!" Ma scolded. 

"I almost died. Can't I have a steak?" I pouted. 

"You just woke up and you already complaining," Delilah rolled her eyes even though she was beaming. 

"It's engraved in his DNA," Rob snickered. 

"You'll have all the steak you want when we get home," Benedito kissed my forehead with a smile. 

I puckered my lips so he could kiss me which he easily did. I was confident this time because I had brushed my teeth and used half a bottle of mouthwash. Maybe that was the cause of me being unable to taste anything, but I highly doubted it. Hospital food was the true cause of death.
