"A beach?" she said looking around.
"Mhmm" he replied watching the waves crash against the sandy surface.
"It is so peaceful here." she closed her eyes and took deep breaths, liking the feel of cool breeze against her skin.
"I know. That is why I come here often. At night."
" So this is like your comfort place?" she asked turning to him.
" You can say that." he nodded.
" Come on let's take a walk" he held her hand and starting walking.
She blinked rapidly looking back and forth between their interwined hands and his back.
His hands are so warm and large, she thought.
"You are tiny" he stated exactly what she was thinking.
" I'm not tiny. I'm concentrated." she said pouting and folding her hands across her chest.
And then she saw a hint of smile on his face. She felt like jumping.
He never smiles. No one saw him smiling before as per the information given by her sister.
They sat down facing the ocean and talked about general things while enjoying the peacefulness of the place.

"Are you hungry?" he asked after sometime.
"A little but where can we eat at this ungodly hour?"
" Come on" he said and then started walking.
She jogged to match his pace and they left the place.
Not too far from there was a small cozy diner which was surprisingly open.
Xavier ordered for the both of them since she didn't know anything about their menu.
"So you come here often too?"
"Hmm the owner is like a father figure to me"
" Oh " she smiled warmly.
" Here you go my boy" an elderly man came and put their food on the table.
" George this is Ailee and Ailee this is George" Xavier introduced them to each other.
Ailee stood up and shook his hand while smiling.
" Nice to meet you Mr George. " she said shyly still not used to talking to strangers.
" The pleasure is all mine young lady." he said looking at them both approvingly.
"Enjoy your food. I am in the kitchen if you need anything." he left after tapping on Xavier's shoulder.
"Mmmm the food is really good here" she said while taking a bite of her chicken Alfredo pasta and fries.
"Andrea is a great cook." he said nodding.
They ordered chocolate ice creams for dessert because Ailee was craving some, like the other 24 hours of the day.
She ate her ice cream licking every bit of it and then Xavier pushed his cup infront of her. She looked confusingly at him.
"Eat."
"No you eat. Its yours"
"Coco I don't really love it."
She gasped loudly.
"How can anyone NOT love chocolates?" she said giving him side eyes but accepted his offering nevertheless.
He just shook his head watching her eat happily like a kid.
They left the diner after an amazing meal and after Ailee devoured two servings of her favourite chocolate ice cream.
They entered into the car and drove off.

"Thank you Xavier. It was really refreshing and new experience for me. I loved every bit of it."
" My pleasure"
" And Coco?"
" Hmm? " she said turning to him.
" I am going to Russia for about two weeks, so I won't be able to visit you."
She felt warm knowing he considered her important enough to inform her before leaving.
"When do you leave?"
" On Tuesday."
" After the party?"
He nodded in response.
" Ok have a safe trip."
They reached near her mansion and he stopped the car and got out to open her door.
" Thank you" she said while coming out holding his hand.
" See you next time" she nodded.
" Oh and Xavier? "
" Yeah? "
" Please try to be a little more subtle if you plan to come by next time." she said while pointing at his car.
A ghost of a smirk appeared on his face and then it disappeared almost like it was never there.
" Ok. Now go inside its cold out here."
" Yes. Tata! " she said while running and shaking her hands in the air violently.
He finally let a small smile slip on his lips at her antics.
This girl is something else.

Ailee tip toed quietly to her room holding her shoes in one hand.
Upon reaching in her room successfully she removed her jacket and freshened up.
"Hmm today was so eventful" she said to herself.
After a few minutes of tossing and turning she finally fell asleep.

Next day she lazily sat up on her bed and looked around while scratching her head.
She checked her phone and saw it was already 11 in the morning. She must be too tired to not wake up till this late.
She quickly got out and waddled to her bathroom.
Wearing a nice baby blue sundress she came out and went straight to the kitchen.
She made herself some Bagel with Cream Cheese for breakfast and went in the garden to her precious flowers.

"Ailee?"
"Yes?" She went inside while answering.
"My date" Emma reminded her and Ailee gasped.
"I'm sorry I forgot." she said making a sad face.
"Hey its ok its not like you missed it or something. Come on" they went up to Emma's room to get her ready.
"You look so pretty Em!" she gushed.
"Thank you for helping me out Lils. Here click some pictures for my socials"
"Sure."
They clicked tons of pictures in her room, the hallways, the garden and in the driveway while waiting for Damien to pick her up.
"I told him that you know about us and he was happy to know that I'm not all by myself now." she said holding Ailee's hand.
"I'll always be there for you Em" They both smiled.
Right then they heard a honk and looked up to see a black Mercedes pulling in their driveway.
"That's him" Emma whispered in her ear.
He got out and stood infront of Emma looking at her lovingly.
"You look beautiful love" he said kissing the back of her hand.
" Thank you" she shyly replied.
" Oh and Damien this is my younger sister Ailee"
" Nice to meet you Ailee" he said nodding.
" Likewise Mr Ferraro" she replied giving a nervous smile.
" Its fine you can call me Damien" he smiled.
" ok" she said quietly and nodded.
" Ok we'll get going now Lily. I have to be back before evening to be able to attend the gala."
And it was only then she realised what day it was today. She can't believe it slipped out of her mind even though it was just the previous night she talked about it with Xavier.
"Yeah you should hurry up. Bye and have fun"
"I will. Bye" They both waved at Ailee and left.
Ailee sighed.
She walked in her room thinking what she should wear today.
After searching for an hour she finally settled on a black dress. She has so many of this colour.
She suddenly realised that she should give him a present.
"Oh crap" she said out loud. He was her first ever male friend and he was going to celebrate a hard earned milestone and she will go empty handed?
She knew he wouldn't mind at all but it was her who felt embarassed going there just like that.
It will feel awkward wishing him and not giving him a token of congratulations.
Alas she realised it too late.
She thought deeply about it and came to the conclusion that she will quickly go to the mall and get him a customised bracelet since he likes accesories as per her observation.
She wanted one of her sisters to accompany her because she cannot talk to people for crying out loud but she wanted to keep it a secret too so she'll have to manage.
She went to one of the best jewellers and looked around for a good design. When she finally found one she made some changes in it and fell in love with the delicacy of the wrist piece and decided she'll get one for herself as well. They charged extra for the emergency order but she was fine as long as it gets ready by evening.
She spent the next 2 hours in her car doing the office work on her laptop while waiting for the gift to get ready. When it was done she got a call from the management and went up to collect it.
"They look so beautiful thank you" she thanked the worker.
"It's your design ma'am we just brought it to life. Thank you and shop again from us." She smiled and left.
Ailee was very satisfied with her choice of present and happily went home.

Soon her family arrived to get ready for the event and everyone was surprised to know that Ailee will be joining them as well.
A little later than everyone else came Emma unable to get rid of her goofy smile.
She dragged Ailee in her room and told her all about the fun she had and how romantic the arrangement was and then Ailee went in her respective room to start getting dressed.
