Chapter 547: NOT HIM, ANYONE BUT HIM

We were just enjoying another peaceful sleep after a tedious day. I was nestled in the comforting embrace of my husband after an intense love making session. It had been weeks since we had a peaceful slumber together, and this was the best night we had in a long time.

But our peaceful moment was shattered when the door to our bedroom slammed open with a loud bang. My heart raced as I instinctively reached for the sword that lay beside our bed, while Ivan flexed his claws in readiness.

Turns out it was our children, the twins, Cyril and Caeden, who raced into the room along with Rhea, who clutched a doll close to her chest.

I let out a groan of relief, realizing that it was just our mischievous children who had barged in unannounced. I was grateful that Ivan and I had decided to at least put some clothes on before we went to bed after our intense sex, even though it was just a simple nightgown.
