"Tell me, what brings you here today? You're not the kind of child to waste time."
Rat Immortal didn't continue reminiscing, his long toes tapping the hardwood armrests of the black Taishi Chair in a steady rhythm, his tone as calm as before.
Korma hesitated only for a few seconds before pulling out a piece of paper and asked, "Is this your doing?"
Rat Immortal slightly raised his eyebrows but made no movement, and then the paper flew from the witch's hand, fluttering before him and unfolding in mid-air.
He read the note carefully.
A moment later.
"Child, you know me well." Rat Immortal pushed the note back in front of the witch, his whiskers twitching, "If I had intended that, I would have had the kid in the red vest tell you face to face."
Korma sighed a deep sigh of relief.
"I feel saddened," Rat Immortal immediately added, "by your suspicion."
A sweet smile immediately adorned the witch's face, "Actually, this note was just an excuse for me to visit you."
