Chapter 160: The heartbeats

She was just glad that she was able to perform her remaining scenes that day without any problems. Jacob seemed happy that they were almost back to their original schedule. But most importantly, he was glad to see Sabrina looking like she was back to her normal self.

"You look happy today. Not that I'm complaining. I am just glad that you are now feeling much better." Jacob commented after ending the last set of filming for the day.

"Yeah, I am truly feeling amazing." She grabbed her water, feeling thirsty again. It was a bit hot today and all she wanted was to get refreshed.

"Can I invite you for dinner?" Jacob wanted to ask her the other night but decided to postpone it. 

"I'm sorry, not tonight. I already made plans." She felt guilty lying to Jacob. She was just not up to a night out.
