Chapter 1: Chapter 1
I woke up again to the same world I didn't want to be. At that point I wished I could just go back to sleep and not think of everything I had to think of. School, Dylan, exams and myself. Dreaming was better than reality.
I strolled to the bathroom to take a shower and prepare for school. My brain felt heavy and my whole body was not excited for another day. Maybe it was because I just hated life too much so my whole body was in agreement on the enemy I had created for myself. I took a warm shower and as the water dripped down to my face, I just kept thinking of what Dylan would be doing right now. If he was up early to talk to me today since he told me he was busy yesterday. I just needed to tell someone how I hate my life right now.
Hmm...Dylan, my few years boyfriend, by saying few years I mean we weren't clear on how long we had dated but just to make the relationship spicy we had to create a special day, 12th December as our anniversary. He was sweet, funny and an excellent boyfriend but that was before joining campus. Ever since he joined he's been busy. For sometime now I kept telling myself he was busy making his life better for us, but recently I found that thought so stupid.
I was done showering so I got off the bathroom and wiped myself up put on some clothes that were close by in the wardrobe. I wasn't the fond of dressing up like a pretty confident girl and look nice for the guys out there after all my life was a living hell.
I was always the third party in everything. Everyone considered me non-important, if that's a word, apart from my mom, maybe brothers and my highschool best friend who was no where close to me at this moment.
I took my bag and headed to the kitchen to get something to eat. As I prepared my breakfast I decided to call Dylan to check if he was up and luckily he picked up the phone. "Hey!"
"Hey Daisy what's up." He said. Harsh couldn't even call me babe.
"I wanted to check up on you, are you okay?" I said lamely, him calling me by my name hit hard. "Yeah I'm okay we'll talk later, I have to run for class. I'll call you." Like I always do. I thought. How many times in a day do I call him to get an 'I'll call you back' statement that never ever came true. Before I could answer him I heard a beep, he had ended the call without even an 'I love you' statement. What the heck am I still doing in this relationship.
Love is a stupid thing. I loved Dylan even if he was a pain in the as*... I still loved him if you ask me why I don't know. He had a way of making me forgive him and right his a thousand wrongs with just one 'I'm sorry' look and an 'I love you' statement and a stupid pinpops. I was so stupid to love him with my life. I took my breakfast painfully and left for school another miserable place for me.
