Chapter 22: WORKING WITH THE DEVIL
AIDEN POV:
Why the hell my head is pounding, I woke up in my penthouse, but I don't remember anything, when did I come back?
"Good morning buddy, here have this".
Hi Noah, thank you, my head is paining so badly
"Do you remember anything Aiden, I mean you were so drunk yesterday that I had to carry you."
Why are you giving me such a cheeky smile Noah, Did I say or did something stupid yesterday?
"Hmm, let me think, yes you did many things, but not only with me, I mean to say that do you remember a certain emerald eyes girl, my friend".
I tried to think and Oh my God, yes, I met her at the party, I tried to remember a bit more and all the flashbacks came, Shit I told her so many useless things, I told her if she has feelings for me. What the hell did I consume last night?

I don't want any special treatment Grace. Please just let me go home a bit early, I promise I will go home and finish all my pending work.

My cab came, and finally, I was ready to meet the devil, I didn't share anything with Charlie last night, I don't know why. Why I felt yesterday that behind those cold eyes, Aiden was hiding something big. Yesterday I saw a vulnerable side of him, he was acting so strange. I understood that he was very drunk, but how dare he read my letter and ask me about my feelings. I don't care about him, he is no one in my life. He is just a fake and dishonest person. Just then my cab came in to stop and I found myself looking at the tall building, it was a bit far away from the city and the interior of the building was beautifully designed. All the employees of XENIA PUBLISHING, are always eager to come here and work, and finally today I got this opportunity, I can't give up on this.
As I was looking inside, someone cleared their throat from the side.
I looked and saw a man preferably in his mid-30s looking at me. Oh yes, he is that friend Of Aiden, I remember him, but forgot his name.
"Hi, you must be the girl, who will do all the changes to our websites and social media accounts. I am Noah by the way."
Hello Sir, I am Isabella Miller.
"Ok Isabella, come with me I will take you to our room, you will be working with me and Aiden in one room only, we have already set up your desk, actually all the cabins are already taken, so for these few days, you have to work with us."

THIRD POV:
Aiden was really enjoying this, he himself arranged this sitting position. He wanted to annoy her so much. But poor Aiden didn't know his best friend and his grandpa had other plans for these two. Noah gave each and every detail to his grandpa, and now his grandpa was eager to meet Isabella.
